Finding NG, or catching the perpetrator?

I've also had that possibility in the back of my mind.Re cleared: Maybe they say “all in this group cleared”, then, LE follows to see if they do anything suspicious ( like hide evidence, return to body).
Just a thought, JMO
Good morning,Unless they are negotiating secretly behind the scenes, I don't think this feels at all like a kidnapping for ransom. You don't want someone for 3 weeks, especially an elderly person with health issues. This feels like a famous/rich person went missing and con artists are taking their shot at money. I don't think any actual communication from the individual in the video has occurred. My thought, terrible as it is, is that this is a serial offender and had nothing to do with who her family was. This feels like a bad situation and I feel what happened has already happened within a few hours of her being taken. I hope I'm wrong and someone returns her safely. But this just doesn't feel like a sophisticated kidnapping for money.
I guess maybe something like a door handle or maybe around the doorbell camera mount etc Plenty of surfaces and objects the perps would likely have interacted withForgive me if I am not up to speed but how on earth do they find 'unknown' DNA in a large house like that?
I guess if there were bodily fluids left in the bathroom, it would be spotted and tested. But elsewhere - a hair? A used tissue? A used glass or cup? Surely they aren't just swabbing random surfaces? That would be like finding a needle in a haystack. It's hard to imagine that a fully-dressed, possibly masked intruder would leave much of anything behind, let alone leave behind something that could be noticed, tested and identified.
What about unconscious?Or, he could have punched her in the nose if she attempted to scream once she realized that he was taking her away. Blood droplets are consistent with passive bleeding, like a nosebleed. Just my opinion, of course.
It does not seem logical to me that he would try to still remove her if she was deceased.
Yes, BE is so professional. One of the ways he gets so much info is that, when interviewing, he listens, does not interrupt. Allows them to fully develop their own ideas. And my guess, about why BE has such a reliable inside source, is that he is not a big blabber mouth who sensationalizes; quite the opposite imo he is thoughful and stays within the boundaries of responsible reporting.
Just what I have seen so JMO
But with gloves on, surely?I guess maybe something like a door handle or maybe around the doorbell camera mount etc Plenty of surfaces and objects the perps would likely have interacted with
Nothing like cool arctic windsAccording to this site - Why Don't More of Us Sleep With the Window Open? | Sleep Foundation
People in colder climates are more likely to sleep with window open and people in warmer climates more likely to sleep with it closed
I certainly fit with this though, im in one of the coldest states in the US and I’ve noticed I sleep SO much better with the window open

Time for IGG on the inside unknown DNAI think that's the likely outcome of the glove DNA though. The DNA supposedly found in the house/on the property is surely a better lead even if it didn't hit in CODIS (which it presumably didn't seeing as nothing has come of it so far)
Main thing I'm thinking of is that "bite light" in his mouth. Assuming he took that out at some point and there would be saliva from that on the gloves, then on whatever he touched possibly. But with gloves on, surely?
I think just as in JonBenet's case, the DNA is going to be a big distraction.
I agree, but most here are emphasizing identifying the DNA, which in my opinion is secondary to preserving human life.Preservation of human life is always the first objective.
I wonder if Brian still stands by his 24-48 hours. We're about halfway there...[/td]WFLA Live, which is still streaming as of Monday, February 16 at 1:50 PM Eastern, had Brian Entin on earlier. Brian Entin said he believes this case will be solved and advised everyone to watch the next 24 to 48 hours closely. I can’t provide a timestamp yet because the broadcast is still live.

It says the shirt was "used" by USBP K9. I imagine it may be a shirt of NG that was used for scenting. I doubt a person left their own shirt discarded. Still odd to be left, but likely not a LE officer discarding their own shirt.what kind of professional organisation trains it's staff to just discard their shirts at a probable crime scene??
this goes from stupid to unreal!!
Also gloves and balaclavas will make you warm and sweaty, could easily transfer that onto some surface. The bite light being a transfer source is a good call thoughMain thing I'm thinking of is that "bite light" in his mouth. Assuming he took that out at some point and there would be saliva from that on the gloves, then on whatever he touched possibly.
