I think DNA found in the home did not match anyone in CODIS.

I think DNA in the 2 miles away globe did not match anyone in CODIS.

I believe the DNA found on home items is not the same as the DNA found on the 2 miles away glove.

If they figure out whose DNA is on the 2 miles away glove, I'm not sure how helpful that is without a link from the glove to the crime. It's probably some random person.

Hopefully they are pursuing IGG on the DNA from inside the house.

Say the DNA on a commonly used glove on the side of the road matched a POI or the inside of the house.

It is conceivable or possible that a worker that was in the house discarded the glove after he left. (came in house to use bathroom, discuss the job, collect payment). It is conceivable a POI that lived in the area also just detailed their Range Rover and discarded the glove. W/o Nancy's blood/DNA on the glove there is still no connection to the crime scene at all. So these gloves on the side of a road are a long shot to begin with, with no chain of custody, and being common contractor trash.

This is something that I heard the Criminal Defense Attorney, Mark Geragos, state after the Reiner murders. He said that the murders had all the hallmarks of a "meth" murder. He went on to say that when we hear of these horrific machete killings lately, it's because the person with the machete is high on meth. Apparently, this drug makes some people horrendously violent.

I would like to also ask how often the stalker kidnaps or even harms a family member to get attention. Are there any examples that we can go off of? Don't the obsessed usually go directly for the person they are obsessed with? And, you are correct, there usually is a ton of attempts to get they're attention before they do something like this. I would assume that the FBI and criminal profilers have thought of this already, I certainly hope so anyways.

MOO I don't believe it was a stalker of SG,but I do believe that the person or persons saw an opportunity when they found out a wealthy woman was alone overnight in this exclusive neighborhood.

There may be quite a few people who have visited this home during the week for various reasons. The workers talk about their jobs -unless they signed a non-disclosure form. The wrong people figured that Nancy Guthrie would be an easy mark.

( I still wonder if there is a safe on the premises.)

I wondered about that but I don't think that was the only connection or there would not have been Probable Cause in relation to Friday.

If that's the case then it also wouldn't record the perp pulling car around driveway to garage to hide until they were ready to use it to remove NG out the front door.

It may not pick up cars traveling along right side of driveway to garage. Or the getaway car came when NG was bringing removed and camera was removed.

Agreed. I legit cannot understand why it's being discussed by LE publicly. Two mile glove is absurd.

Yeah a universal cheapo vinyl holster profiled for a 6" large frame revolver hanging low off a belt loop in some goofy approximation of appendix carry with a late gen small frame semi auto tucked in is not the way to go if your life depended on it, or if you just don't want your gun falling out w/ any real movement. You also see them in $5 dollar bins at gun stores or yard sales.

But what's also strange is having a list of 40 guys and checking gun shops. AZ is a constitutional carry state that allows face to face cash private sales with no paperwork for handguns. It is also legal to borrow a gun. I highly doubt this guy went to his LGS and filled out a 4473 to buy the gun. But given the footage we saw on the Nest cam maybe Mr. Walmart Ninja did.

Agree with all the above comments. LE would've been remiss if they didn't test the roadside glove, but it was always a long shot. I imagine they have to be pretty deflated right now. If they didn't get any hits on the glove or DNA inside the home, where do they go from here?

Appealing to the kidnapper(s)' conscience hasn't worked. The reward money hasn't worked. The raids came up empty. They haven't been able to trace the TMZ emails (AFAIK). No activity on the Bitcoin account. How the heck did these people just vanish?
