This video is interesting; the FBI is at NG’s neighbor’s home.

I’m curious if this is the neighbor that lost her power, or just the video on her camera?

The phone in the agent’s hand doesn’t appear to be his (IMO) many of my female friends’ phones are encased in multi-colored flowers.

When I lost power on one of my Ring cameras, I had to be next to it to it with my phone to repower/refigure it.

I wonder if that camera had a view of NG’s home or the street in front?

It appears to be a Ring flood light camera. I own the Ring cam system and there is a reset button on the top that looks like the agent is holding down to reset with the phone. I'm guessing he had to reset and sync it back up to the owners phone after they took video from it. JMO.

The only thing I can think of is that it relates to the new extended timeline [as per new information] going as far back as January 11.

Even if that's the case, that's a huge opportunity lost. Local recordings most likely would be overwritten and cloud data could easily be deleted or overwritten as well. Some cloud plans only store videos for 14 days, maybe even less.

“I could literally publish an app tomorrow that every single person could download on their phone, and you literally hit ‘Find Nancy,’ and it will scan in every geographic location where they’re at for that specific address and then tell the FBI, ‘Hey, there’s a hit here. You need to go here to start to triangulate where it’s happening,'” he said.

It's unlikely anyone within 30 feet of NG is going to say so. IMO

I have followed many, many cases here on WS, though not too many very recently. The biggest complaint about LE in the past was always not hearing enough from them. It blows my mind how common the LE bashing is on this thread, and the complaining that there is too much info, that the info changes over time, and so on. Despite the moderators requesting that we stick to the facts and give LE a break. When they look at one thing, people chime in, “really? What a goose chase”. I want to remind those people, they are perfectly capable of pursuing multiple theories at one time and nothing is a waste of time until a suspect is arrested. They can send multiple DNA samples for IGG. They can entertain multiple theories at one time. They can actually release intentionally vague info, or intentionally misleading info.
People complaining about how much time this is taking, it isn’t a TV detective show, and Idaho (which did take months) was abnormally fast to reach a conclusion.

Or if they didn't have a subscription he probably reset and sync'd to his phone to send any unique identifiers of that specific camera in for analysis.

We already have a network that is theoretically capable of identifying that device and its geolocation and it's widely deployed. It's called Amazon Sidewalk.

even if they didn't could the Google not do like they did on Nancy's ...extract the data. this is REALLY setting a new precedent however....demand Google or Ring or whoever get the info even without a sub

Not a bad idea, but she probably knows more about what is going on and has surmised (or been advised) that no amount of money offered will likely suffice. Especially if it is a stalker, one of those maligned online thrill cults, or even ideologically/foreign/revenge driven. We don't even know that she or others haven't already ponied up the ransom and been burned. We just know that no one deposited a ransom into that particular bitcoin account.

Yes, all of that makes sense. I have also wondered if they have paid someone and gotten nothing back. But I was thinking that maybe she should have just done that from day one and only paid the million after they got her back. If I had the money, that’s what I would want to do. They did not have it in their possession because they sent it to Google. If you read my past posts you will see the press conference where he says they have sent the camera to the "tech company" for analysis. He said that in the Feb 5th press conference.

Sounds more like desperation than following actual leads to me. The only indication the perp could be Hispanic is the fact that the area has a lot of Hispanics and because that sketch artist (questionably) put out a sketch with very Hispanic leaning looks. I personally don't think you can tell that much detail about the perps face or ethnicity from the video. If you take that sketch and have an AI like Gemini's nano banana give it lighter skin and a bit lighter hair while keeping the beard and mustache and keeping the same facial structure you end up with a very white looking caucasian guy with the exact same facial features. DM me if you want to see those results.

Good question. Did the neighbor try calling Nancy that morning or going over and didn’t get an answer? But why would you call Adult Protective Services instead of 911? Isn’t APS more for like ongoing suspected abuse issues and not if someone is missing??
