I just signed up to support by being a Webslueths Gaurdian for $3.00 a month. Because I can't even imagine the mess they have to clean up here. The stuff I've read, the crap posted. We need to support this wonderful imformative platform. But man I would not want to be a moderator.

I hope the FBI takes those names into local pawn shops so they can look them up in their system to see if any of them ever sold anything, for example a weapon or maybe a piece of jewelry. Possibly something Nancy was wearing?

We don’t know about possible ballistic evidence from the crime scene. Maybe one of the crew popped off a round. The homes are so far apart and secluded, I think it’s possible.

Someone earlier today sleuthed the shoes. They concluded it was similar to a Carhartt moc. If you put that info in the search, I bet it will pop up
Replying to myself to show shoe info from earlier

I’m not the person you responded to. What is criminal about it? Be specific.
I believe in the 2nd Amendment. But I also think that people buy guns in certain markets for specific reasons.

That wasn’t a response to you.

In any case, there are at least three very reasonable theories at play here:
1) it was a different day and time
2) it was at a different time on the same day while casing the location
3) it was a second individual on the same day dressed in a similar manner

Source is this tweet.

“Additional recovered images from the same camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance, including two videos of the individual.”

Why are they going around to gun stores if there are no ballistics?

  • #33,911
My theory is that they have recovered spent bullets from the Guthrie home.

My theory is that they have recovered spent bullets from the Guthrie home.
That would be good evidence.
But why would that have occurred?

Yes… I provided you with this tweet... Please point out where it says anything was AI generated or modified. Backpacks removed.

My apologies, I missed your post with this tweet. Then you are aware it’s the same individual. Why do you think he’s not wearing a backpack in the pic? Many aspects of this case are ambiguous. This does not require a heated dispute.

This should not be an obscure observation by true crime community members. This is a real national security threat.

If it is a real threat why couldn't it have been a real threat when it comes to what happened to Nancy? Considering she lives close to the border and her daughter is in the public eye interviewing many political figures.

Savannah has interviewed the last three Presidents of the United States during their respective presidential terms and has moderated several debates for presidential nominees.

She interviewed Donald Trump before he was president in 2011.
In 2016, she moderated Donald Trump’s town hall with former co-host Matt Lauer, and once again in 2020, after the current president refused a debate with the then-Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

That would be good evidence.
But why would that have occurred?
First investigative step is to attempt to match against local same caliber incidents. Next is to roll the dice on a gun shop roundup.

I mean no harm. Nanos said this was a targeted kidnapping. The man's DNA is not in Codis. The FBI are looking for men who the gun shop owner said had unusual names.

And it is not a theory just pulled out of thin air.

“Over the past four years, thousands of Iranian national have been documented entering the United States illegally and countless more were likely in the known and unknown got-a-ways,” Scott wrote.

“Though we have not received any specific credible threats to share with you all currently, the threat of sleeper cells or sympathizers acting on their own, or at the behest of Iran has never been higher,” he added.

Scott asked border agents “to remain hyper vigilant and continue to take appropriate precautions, while maintaining a heightened level of situational awareness both on and off-duty.”

Nancy lives very close to the border.

Border agents warned about possible terrorist ‘sleeper cells’ after Biden admin let in over 700 Iranian illegal migrants
Did the gun shop owner actually implicate being given an Iranian name? Could be any of many countries that have a grudge against the usa. JMOO

Sorry if I seem heated… just want the actual facts of the situation to be understood. I’ll even go as far as to say that I don’t even care if someone believes it was a modified image… as long as they don’t try to pass that off as anything but speculation.

As far as why he doesn’t have the backpack - best guess would be he was looking around the property before the actual “go time”, and didn’t want to have on any more than necessary for that, especially the reflective backpack straps.

If anyone remembers the guy interviewed at least twice, who some people in this thread found a tad suspicious, and who was calling himself a “neighbour” while trying to push the blame on TC, there appears to be someone in Tucson with the same first name as him and whose last name relates to Friday night’s SWAT events. Could be complete coincidence, of course, but if so, it’s an interesting one all the same.

The ring shape similarity is very strong, as are body build. I hope this has been investigated.

They wouldn't. The FBI is throwing spaghetti at the wall.
I disagree. The FBI is following leads. Some don't pan out. If they didn't follow up on leads, people would complain that they hadn't explored every shred of potential evidence. Take the glove, for example. It wasn't found all that close to NG's house, but it did bear some physical resemblance to the glove Lantana Man was wearing. So they tested it, compared it, and it didn't match. If they hadn't, armchair detectives would be saying, "but what about the glove they found?" MOO
