Maybe they're saying that the polygraphs are being taken to clear people because they want to get potential suspects to agree to take the polygraphs. Maybe they actually want to catch some of those people, such as LD.

I note Patel says there:
What's so very odd is that the family doesn't seem to have been contacted, but TMZ, which is viewed by a younger population, was contacted. I feel the ransom demands are a diversion, and the FBI are chasing all those 'leads', taking away from finding poor Nancy, whether rescue or recovery.I would milk it too if I was TMZ. That's how they make their money. I don't think they can help that they are the chosen one in this case.
Good pointI note Patel says there:
“Additional recovered images from the same camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance, including two videos of the individual.”
So, “the individual”. Implies the same one person in all those images.
And, “same camera”, and “the morning of her disappearance”. So, same camera, and same date.

What I heard was that she took an Uber to her daughter's house, where she, her daughter and 'husband'(I heard he is not her husband, but now every report calls him that) ate dinner and played Mah Jong. Different info out there about exactly who took her home that night, as some say both, but some also say just the 'husband'. Very sad, but IMOO, the resources made available for this case is sadly not used in the many other kidnappings/missing persons/children across the country.
Absolutely and it's important to note their annoyance is with media, not law enforcement. It isn't just Fox and CNN camped out on their street. They're probably tired of being harassed by YouTubers, tabloid reporters, clout chasers and all the other assorted ghouls who come to gawk at tragedy. I don't doubt they want Nancy found just as badly as the rest of us.I think annoyance is just human nature. It’s ok to be annoyed. It doesn’t mean they don’t care about Nancy. When someone with video cameras blocks your driveway and is filming you on your morning walk with your dog, or random people are in your yard or parked outside your home for over 2 weeks pretty much anyone would get annoyed. I would. This is a super quiet neighborhood and they aren’t used to this. It’s perfectly natural. The frustration with not knowing what happened or where Nancy is, is palpable at this point.

IMO, the Sheriff received push back for clearing the entire family. Polygraphs are also part of the department's due diligence , imo.Maybe the family want to do them, to get the pressure off their backs.
Camera noise. At low light levels, the camera uses high gain (high ISO), which amplifies the signal but also the noise. You can see noise patterns in the sky, too. Very low contrast in this image – you can barely see the eyes and the holes for them in the mask. Detail is being obliterated.Ok. I took a copy of the photo and played with the light levels sharpness contrast and definition. There is a pattern on the jacket! I'm confident that's a different jacket than lantana guy. It looks like swirls or the way light plays off of rip stop nylon. View attachment 646386

Would anyone be willing to tell me when this image was released and if LE said anything about it?
I could search through hundreds of pages or some nice person could fill me in. Please.

Please supply your source that he is not her husband!
9:45 or 10 pm is not "late" for many seniors.Does anyone know who dropped her off, and why so late? I wonder if it was a special celebration. Usually elderly people don’t stay up that late.
Such confusing words-I think this is their article on this….

In a follow-up message, 12News asked Nanos if (LD) remained under investigation by the sheriff's office. He said, "We do not identify persons of interest. We met with the person of interest and he complied with our court order and he was released," Nanos said.

And of interest to me: BBM- I don’t understand why he needed a vehicle as he would likely be headed back to prison when his case goes to trial in may. The last part of the bolded sentence doesn’t match what court records say. Maybe he is out on probation UNTIL his trial— in May 26. Pima County Superior Court - Agave Online (Public Record Search)
….in 2022, he was arrested and would later be convicted of drug distribution charges. He was sentenced to four years on probation. He was arrested again in early 2025 by Marana Police in possession of fentanyl and a gun. A probation officer has filed to revoke his probation, but a judge has allowed him to continue on probation in the community.
