WHAT???? was it processed before the glove? When was it collected?
I'm so confused as well. Is this biological evidence in addition to the DNA they already mentioned?

Has TMZ specified how these communications are coming in? Are they through a webform vs through email?
Levin uses the term “email” but loosely, I suspect. If someone completes a form on your own website, you receive the submission by email. I strongly suspect that at least the original two notes claiming to be from the abductor, each of which Levin called a “letter”, used web forms. I’d be amazed if they were really sent using email.

I believe one reason we have talked about Mexico is in one of the emails TMZ got the guy said he saw NG with them 5 days ago.
So, the sheriff directly contradicts this?

Put yourself in the criminal mind. What would you do - at this point in time - with NG, assuming she is alive? Or in a criminal's mind: would she still be alive? Finally, why stay in Tucson?
Well, since they have not located NG yet, it seems to be a safe location - for now.

Cheers,
Nin

I am actually surprised they have not paid the new ransom. JMO

Yes. After every statement to the media. It is a complete pissing contest.

Brief paraphrase of the last few weeks:

FBI: We're checking to see if she's in Mexico.
Sheriff: No reason to believe she's in Mexico.

Sheriff: The family has been cleared!
FBI: No comment.

FBI: We're checking gun shops to see find recent purchases.
Sheriff: No they're not.

FBI: The sheriff isn't sharing evidence with us.
Sheriff: Am so.

Feel free to add to the list.
I feel like we need to cue the 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' theme music.

Yes. And said something in the previous letter like (I paraphrase) 'prepare for this to go international'...

As a small experiment, I tried to roughly estimate the time of this video using shadow length. Huge caveat here that this is very, very rough.

I started with this frame.

Screenshot 2026-02-18 at 20.44.47.webp

Then I made a very basic ratio of height (foot to top of head) and shadow length (top of head to end of head shadow).

Screenshot 2026-02-18 at 21.03.49.webp

The ratio: 20 blocks / 33 blocks = 0.6

Then, using mooncalc, com, I set the date to Feb 1 and placed the location at Nancy's home.

Screenshot 2026-02-18 at 21.04.50.webp

With a object to shadow ratio of 0.6, I adjusted the time slider until the shadow length grew to 1.05 meters (1.75 meters x 0.6).

The corresponding time is approximately 02:20.

Screenshot 2026-02-18 at 21.05.12.webp

So, likely that just means my methodology is sloppy if the clip is from 02:12, but it's fairly close. Closer to 02:12 that 01:47, anyway.

Is there anything to be learned from this? No. lol

Does the stock Ozark Trail backpack have a magnet attached to the sternum strap? If not, it looks like this guy might have at one point added one, perhaps for a water bladder.

Look at Video 1 starting around 00:20. The strap is magnetically attached to metal (or a magnet) in his pocket. When he bends over, it eventually falls free, then reattaches at 00:26.

Not sure if that's been mentioned before. Probably has!
Funny you mention the "thing" in his pocket. I was just looking at that today. I'm no expert with guns, but could the item in his pocket be gun ammo? I see layers there, like 6 layers.

Picture is from one of the videos posted in this thread by an approved source.

Also, another thing I noticed and may not be significant--but---the camera appears to pickup some white speckles on his gloves. Meaning that he touched "something" with the gloves on prior to arriving at the door. What that could have been is anyone's speculation.

TMZ's promoting itself in the midst of a horrific situation. I find it revolting.

I agree it’s not the backpack. I just wonder what would make the pots be arranged differently in those hours. Just stuck out to me.
Dumb question here, but...when LE put up that white tent a few days back, were they (wondering out loud here) also checking those front porch pots for fingerprints? (I understand that sounds kind of obvious, but, well, sometimes "obvious" things are overlooked. Just saying.)

Back to that calling card from Adult Protective Services. How the heck did ANYONE get near that house undetected and get to the front door with all the media and cops etc crawling all over the place? When was it placed there , if anyone knows? jmo

I've never posted here before, but I do read as many comments as I can! (Not all 1,680 pages though! So sorry if this has been asked before, but I haven't seen it.) A bunch of us were at dinner, talking about the Guthrie family; they must be going through hell right now. It's so awful. But one of the people at dinner asked an interesting question, and I'm curious if anyone here knows the answer. He asked, "Why can't SG just offer $1 million to anyone with information leading to the return of her mom?" Wouldn't that get a lot of people's attention and possibly cause somebody in the know to squeal on the kidnapper? It would seem like so much more of an incentive than $50k or $100k or even now $200k. Couldn't that help move the case along faster?
Perhaps FBI advised strongly against SG offering a reward for the return of her mother or perhaps FBI had serious questions about the validity of the people communicating with them about NG. JMO

This may have already been covered and missed by me, but we know NG took medication that she relied on. Do we know how long that she can possibly go without it?
