You know, if Harvey Levin would stop giving these alleged ransom notes attention the person may crawl out of their hole and expose themselves in other ways (by letter with fingerprints). TMZ is just giving this person or people the attention they crave. I really wish they’d stop reporting on it. The more they do the more emails they’re going to receive. If they, the writer, stops getting a reaction, they’ll stop - if they’re pulling a hoax. If they’re the real deal they’ll have to switch to other means of communication which might trip them up.

Also, if they’re fake, they’re inadvertently helping the real perp by causing a distraction. TMZ keeping this going publicly is not helping matters. Not that HL actually cares.

If you go to the Arizona APS site, you can submit an anonymous tip online. In theory, it would be possible that someone anonymously requested an APS checkup on Nancy without providing any personal information outside of saying they're a "neighbor."

It is exactly 50 yards.

I am not claiming that this is what happened, or that the drag marks are from Nancy, only that it is a possibility.

When was this picture taken? The foot traffic must have been significant since the scene was released the first time (3x total) and pizza guys and pool cleaners were walking and driving since then. The night of the SWAT raids Tucson had some decent rain as well.

I initially wondered if they tested tire tracks/soil samples seeing the type of driveway it was and assuming he'd pull the car up out of sight, but at some point after the scene was released and there was so much foot traffic that scene was cooked.

FYI, this isn't how Google Trends works at all and Google themselves dismissed the Fox News claims about the Nancy Guthrie search claims. Ashleigh Banfield talks about it at around the 24:30 min mark. News Nation reached out to Google to inquire about the claims and Google responded.

Thanks for sharing. I was already told by another poster that it may not be accurate. I just was sharing what the Data states. Take it or leave it. I just found it interesting that there is only searches listed for Savannah for very specific dates right before the crime when there was not any activity for months before. Same with the searches for Nancy. Where the Data was pointing for the majority of them having occured was just South of Nancy's home Tubac / Sierra Vista. South is where LE detained the first individual. Now it seems like you are saying that there is an innocent explanation for these searches and dates correct?

Yes, Mexicans near the border hear about, follow AZ border news. Maybe they want the reward! Also, many American News stations, such as Telemundo and local AZ TV stations are in Spanish, so no problem getting USA News to “ nearby” across the border Mexicans. A lot know English, too.

In addition, the Mexican border patrol works closely with USA border patrol to send USA criminals back to the USA, very common, in my opinion.
I highly doubt the perp would risk taking NG across the border. Maybe on day one, lying down in back, covered? I just don’t see a benefit really.

Yes, maybe the perps went somewhere outside of AZ to hide( NG left in AZ, sorry). That is possible.

I do not claim to be any sort of forensics expert, and I certainly think that LE and the FBI have their reasons, but wouldn't you think that the front porch Mat would be in some sort of evidence? I mean, like everything else, it is too late, but the perp was obviously standing on it. Like someone else mentioned, he could have drooled while using the flashlight. Couldn't his shoes have fibers or something from his house/car that may have possibly been left behind? That is stuff that can be compared to a potential perps actual home/car after they've been caught. Not to mention that there is a good chance there was blood on it. Maybe they just did a luminol test on site and figured that it wasn't important.

Not for us to decide, and the reason they don't have lights all over is they confuse wildlife, especially birds. There are benefits, if one is being realistic. A poster laid out a compelling overview many many pages ago.

You have cheap and accessible medical care and medicine (many Americans go over the border to buy drugs and steroids at unregulated pharmacies). Easy to find a female older caretaker for an elderly medically compromised woman. You have a cultural concept of no snitching and minding your business much more so, local police and political corruption, bribes, far less regulation and surveillance state. You have far less heat and investigation on you and jurisdictional and resource complications. Much easier to lay low and disappear overall.

As I said, 1,000s of Americans cross over and back every day. Border towns have many dual nationals and it's much more casual and in some areas less monitored than most think.

When they pulled over and detained Carlos, the delivery driver, he was minutes from Nogales Border and driving South. The proximity alone kicks in border protocols.

According to this video, BE says most local people in Nogales have not heard of the case. A few people who read or look at social media did know about it. All it takes is one keen observer, who has heard of the case, to turn in the perp.

I personally don’t think NG is in Mexico.

The biggest problem with google trends is that they normalize their data. To normalize data means that the numbers on the graph don't represent absolute search volume numbers. It's presented on a scale from 0-100, where each point on the graph is divided by the highest point, or 100. This also means that searches with low volume are essentially erased to maintain normalcy.

Google themselves state :

"Hovering your mouse over the graph reveals a number, which reflects how many searches have been done for the particular term relative to the total number of searches done on Google.

Trends excludes certain data from your searches:

• Searches made by very few people: Trends only analyses data for popular terms, so search terms with low volume appear as 0 for a given time period
• Duplicate searches: Trends eliminates repeated searches from the same user over a short period of time for better overall accuracy."

Essentially if you see 1 on a random date it doesn't mean that one person searched that specific term. It could've been 500 people in that region searched that term but because people googled a million other things that day it's considered a relatively low "trending" term on a scale from 0-100

I am surprised they left the mat. That mat was not a random object. It's a primary contact surface. To counter my comment, they probably fully documented the mat with photos and swabs. IMO
