IMOO It is mixed DNA from two people so testing takes longer.
The FBI is not going to tell everything to the public. Nor should they. Many people have been in and out of Nancy's house over the years, and as the staff and family have been tested(probably friends and neighbors as well), they would probably be looking for anything 'different'. They have a tough job.
No clue if there are any waterways, like lakes, etc in the area, but I hope they are checking those as well...They did check the sewers nearby, and thankfully found nothing.
I would love to see a happy ending to this, but not holding out much hope anymore.

I'm hopeful and optimistic. I think she's alive and relatively comfortable. According to HL on TMZ, the most recent letter had graphic details about what would happen if they didn't pay the ransom, which suggests that she's still alive and doesn't indicate that she's in poor health. NG seems smart, sweet, and capable of keeping herself alive in adverse conditions. MOO
Hope you're right!!
I'd given up hope for NG weeks ago, and at this point was only praying for justice being served against the suspects.

I've done a cursory look into a pacemaker's "magnet mode."

Note: I have no idea what I'm talking about, so take all of this as pure, unadulterated guesswork. I don't know which model pacemaker Nancy has or her specific heart condition. Hopefully, we can get someone with pacemaker/cardiac knowledge to comment here.

Note 2: @hotchilli explains in their post that a pacemaker and ICD are two different devices, although some have dual functions. Both types have magnet mode, but different things happen.

Resource info for magnet mode: Medtronic Academy

Some possible salient quotes from the above source:
  • "A magnet over a Medtronic pacemaker causes the pacemaker to... Switch to an asynchronous mode"
  • "The pacemaker automatically suspends all diagnostic data collection while a magnet is applied to the pacemaker."
  • "Positioning a magnet over a Medtronic ICD suspends tachyarrhythmia detection"
  • "When the magnet is removed, the ICD resumes tachyarrhythmia detection and therapy delivery as programmed."
  • "A steady tone emits for 10 seconds when a magnet or the programming head is applied over the device to verify that notifications are operational and no alert conditions are met." (Note: I've read elsewhere this doesn't apply to all models.)
What I'd like to know is: 1) Does it disable the bluetooth connection? 2) Do pacemakers alert/report magnet mode to the phone, and if so, is there a delay? 3) Would a racing heart due to extreme fear usually trigger a pacemaker alert, and would that then trigger some sort of medical emergency flag?

This is a good thought, my eyesight is awful without glasses so I really need to "zoom" in on things ie, get close to them,

Maybe too high to reach?
It's even or slightly lower than the top of the door, so he should have been able to reach, if he could get right under the light. Maybe he couldn't or didn't want to get off the walkway.

Wish I could, but I fear she is long gone. I hate thinking that way but the odds seem slim that this poor woman is alive and well.
No proof of life is a big concern. No video. Nothing about what she was wearing (clothing, jewelry). Nothing she has said. It certainly doesn't look good. Not even thinking the Bitcoiners were involved.

Has LE explained why they can’t track the ransom emails?

I’ve been wondering if the sender used something like Tor to send the emails and not just a VPN to hide their identity?

That's a possibility, unfortunately.

Do you think that light would still be functional? Seem like the preps would have to cut the wires to totally disable it. Maybe they damaged the motion sensor. I'm guessing the lights were already damaged, which could be known to multiple people. MOO.
If those floodlights have indeed been damaged before by the roofers - as previously posted- , it would be a clear indication to me, that the ransom letter mentioning the floodlights is questionable.

ALL IMO

the only thing left for YTubers to do or any media for that matter is speculate.
I like You tubers because they go into depth on the facts, and take tangents to speculate.
RN, we don’t have any pertinent info, so lots of rehashing, speculating.

I really think the inside DNA is going to be key, and yes, probably IGG genetic genealogy so may take a little longer to get results, actual person for LE to follow, investigate.

The inside person, may not have been captured on a camera, because they came in back door, just my thinking. So, no height weight, unless there are more images we have not seen, very possible FBI has more.

I wonder if the person lives in Mexico, but works in Tucson, so no AZ drivers license to look for similar men to match to Lantana guy?

Border patrol/ Nogales border have clear videos of everyone coming to Mexico and leaving. We just don’t know who we are looking for RN, other than very basic height, weight.

Many people cross border to US, then go back to Mexico every workday afternoon after work. Very common.

Just me thinking about being so close to Mexico, if any clues there?

I’m hoping someone is going to call in a tip on the suspect and they’ll be called caught.
Someone knows who he is and who else is involved. Im holding onto hope for a break in this case.
Agree, I think a wife or girlfriend suspects something is off with their spouse, but they don’t want to believe it.

Since it would impact the family, if the main breadwinner was in jail, they may not turn him in.

Pacemaker and ICD are different things - A Pacemaker is for pacing the heart if it goes too low,

ICD is a defibulator that will shock you if your heart goes into an abnormal rhythm- called Vtach. It will report back to it monitoring hospital if it detects any abnormal activity - but as NG's has been disconnected then it can't report back.

Also note you can have an ICD that has the pacemaker function too.

The question here is - does she have a Pacemaker or ICD - the ICD is more sophisticated and would detect and act on life threatening events.

The other day someone posted something from LE. One thing was destroyed or damaged and 1 thing was missing? Please correct me if I am wrong. I remember opining here that it could have been a photo of SG that my love sick stalker either took or smashed. jmo

IT WAS IN THE LA TIMES

I wish I could, but I'm feeling exactly the same.

I think the only way our hopes can be revived is by some big, sudden movement indicating a real breakthrough.

That's what happened with me and others in the Idaho 4 case when Kohburger was arrested, seemingly out of the blue.

Brian Entin had said a couple of days ago to watch the next 24 -48 hours. That got me down because that time has now passed without incident. Let's hope he was only off by a bit. Fingers crossed 🤞 ✨
we don't know what we don't know. some outward signs make me question both the quality of the decisionmaking and the state of LE's knowledge. on other hand, 1) i try not to think cartoonishly, 2) LE always knows more than they share, and you never know how much more, and 3) DNA can make a case turn on a dime. ... or not.

it's not looking great at the moment, but we could be surprised tomorrow. or next month. or in a few years.

My husband's doctor said his pacemaker has some triggering alerts setup based on his heart condition. One of which is a racing heart. If the heart rate goes above or below a safe number an alert goes to the doctor. When or if they read them timely is different question. We use a portable device connected to WIFI not a watch.

I’ve seen different things posted about adult protective services and I was wondering if anyone has ever thought about the fact that someone called them on her as way of getting her out of her house or to somehow make her family look bad.

My grandparents were a lot like her. In their 80s, with limited mobility, and lived in a house that was far too big for them to take care of. They would not leave for various reasons that they never explained. They had a nosy neighbour that complained to APS they were being neglected and that triggered a visit from a social worker who determined they were not fit to live in their home and that was the catalyst for them moving into a home.

They had to sell their house and a lot of people in the area with relatives who were looking for a home or we’re looking to relocate to the area to be closer to family were interested in it… assuming they could get it at a very discounted price. The nosy neighbour also made it a point to tell anyone who would listen how terrible her children were because they wouldn’t help my grandparents with cooking, cleaning, etc.
I doesn't even have to be to make her family look bad. It can just be genuine concern. I know from personal experience that can be reluctant to go to court to force a move, or even request a conservatoreship when elderly relatives are in desperate needs of more help. Involving APS is one way to get that discussion started, with a neutral 3rd party.

One can only hope NG is alive. 🙏

Im thinking she is gone. The graphic description of what they would do if money is not received, is just to get a payment. I doubt, whether the family pays or not, they will ever get NG back.
Very sorry😢 Horrible situation.

People playing with desperate victims emotions.

Excellent info, thanks. Sounds like it'd be important to know whether Nancy has an ICD or pacemaker. The only reason I can think of for someone wanting to put her's device into magnet mode is if it was be important to the crime, e.g., to prevent event reporting or otherwise disrupt the remote connection.
