Also, why is it that in cases like this it's always some random person out walking their dog months later that come across a body? I mean, I think she's alive, but I've always been curious when this happens. Makes one wonder . . .

I wrote earlier on that I had given up faith in his ability to lead this investigation. The former sheriff is outraged at his handling of the case and he does not have the support of his department from what the previous sheriff said in the video I posted.

Nanos has only been sheriff since 2021 and was immediately embroiled in controversy.

This act shows his gross incompetence in my opinion

The spin and apparent desire for media to leave is unsettling to me. They even outright stated this desire a few days ago if memory serves. To me at least, it seems like a rather obvious longing for another big media story so that this one can go away.

Which at the end of the day means - poor Nancy.

That is what I keep thinking to myself, something else huge is going to happen and that will be it. Not for us here obviously but even tmz will be moving on, it is how they roll. I do appreciate they brought more eyes to the story so I can't totally bag on tmz but when it is time to bounce to the new big story they bounce.

I remember lantana lying on the porch days after when Brian Entin walked up to the door. There was a tent that went up a long time after that, supposedly to replicate the conditions when the Nest recorded Lantana Man. Also to determine height, it was thought.

I’ll have to go back and find the pictures of the tent going up. Maybe it included the lantana plant inside the tent and tests were done. It would be hard to determine where saliva could fall on the plant and surrounding rocks.

Statistically, after all this time, I doubt if she was in the landfill she would be found. It’s incredibly difficult and daunting task searching landfills, especially without knowing which to search.

No, I don’t think she’s in the dump. Usually, this only works if a person is, sorry…cut up, put into smaller bags. A whole, person would be noticeable to the dump workers.

I think the people who took NG, likely disposed of her shortly after the crime( probably in the desert). Very sorry to say. I hope I am wrong, and that she is still alive.

I can't believe it's already been a week since the big swat action last Friday and we're nowhere nearer to resolution than we were then. Calm before the storm?

I just hope it's not a calm before a false alarm storm. Or a lull that goes on and on such as when cases grow cold.

I can't believe it's already been a week since the big swat action last Friday and we're nowhere nearer to resolution than we were then. Calm before the storm?

Hoping they have information and clues. I heard on TV today they have some suspects, but no idea if that's true. So much speculation, and hard to cross reference it all.

Do you think that light would still be functional? Seem like the preps would have to cut the wires to totally disable it. Maybe they damaged the motion sensor. I'm guessing the lights were already damaged, which could be known to multiple people. MOO.

When I had my roof done I found my light fixture bumped sideways afterwards.Its also possible in this instance as NG had just had the roof done.

This whole case. So strange. I don’t trust <modsnip: unnecessary> nanos for a second. Not saying he’s involved but his single interviews and no presser is odd.

It feels to me like he is more comfortable talking one on one, instead of in a press conference environment. In the one on one, it's more of a conversations, when he can have some hope at anticipating the next question. In a press conference, you never know what question may come up. And he has documented issues with handling unexpected questions.

This is FAR from being a cold case. There are hundreds of investigators working thousands of leads. Perhaps the right one is number 1999 and they are working on number 1300. Everyone is becoming impatient, understandably, because a beloved mother's life is at stake. Personally, I'd rather the media backed off, let everyone do their jobs and waited for an official announcement. Dozens of fluff stories are not helpful. MOO.

Unfortunately, while they were inside the house it became apparent to them that it was impossible for Nancy to walk to the vehicle where it was, either because Nancy told them she couldn’t walk that far or because they could see for themselves that she couldn’t walk that far (they could have spotted the walker she used inside the house).

Interesting read. I‘m guessing from the blood on the porch tiles and the cane left in the house that something more serious happened inside, but everything you say is plausible.
