We have long suspected that the suspect at the front door of Nancy Guthrie’s home on the day that she disappeared was wearing nitrile gloves layered over some other glove.
I think our porch guy may have been wearing nitrile bbq gloves that actually come with a cotton liner. This is an example of a pair that just happened to pop up on Amazon. There are several different brands.View attachment 647452

Ha, I had the same thought a while back.
I said I had watched bbq competitions on tv, and saw them wearing similar gloves as the masked porch guy.

This. I posted earlier that the gloves resembled ones that Tattoo artists use, they look like black nitrile gloves being worn over thicker gloves, IMO. Mechanics also use them frequently. Just doing a little research, they are not found in that color in many places outside of Home Depot, Menards, or ordering them online. It just seems to me that unless they were seeking those specific gloves out, it maybe something that they had a personal supply of already due to a line of work they are in.

I remember watching those bbq competitions on tv, and a lot of those competitors had gloves...

I think they are blocking the public from viewing them inspect the vehicle and from seeing inside the vehicle as well. I think they may have been also blocking any view of removal and transfer of item(s) from the car to a LE vehicle.

Possibly, but why not just tow it to the secure location to process it in a controlled lab setting? That's what they typically do. Why the rush to open it onsite? And then hide it under tarps before they did?

The only way I can see that they would open it that quickly is due to exigent circumstances. And there is really only one exigent circumstance in a kidnapping case. Which of course would explain the tarps but not explain that she is still missing.

I saw this clip of BE discussing the mixed DNA issue that the Sheriff discussed. BE says it's foreign DNA found inside NG house, belonging to more than one individual, and it doesn't belong to NG or her close circle.

How can they say it's not NGs or .... But they can't separate it to use? Why is this so confusing? What am I missing?

In this news report they say LE were acting on a tip. You can see LE open the back of the RR as they raise the tarps.

I think they were concerned at what they may find and did not want the public to see.

I don't know but as of Wednesday night they still had it. Honestly, I can't imagine them having it that long for nothing.

IMO, this perp is not smart. After watching BE's latest videos I've decided that this sad, pathetic, and lonely criminal's ability to evade law enforcement has been nothing but pure luck:
Lucky that the traffic cameras/neighbor cameras/ NG cameras didn't record and that the sheriff department has some shortcomings. It's the perfect combo of what could've gone wrong for LE.
The only thing "smart" about this criminal was that he wore a mask and gloves. And perhaps he didn't bring his phone to the crime scene. This "well-written" ransom note is nothing but an opportunistic cyber criminal. The guy on camera does not show the sophistication needed to disguise an IP address and carefully craft multiple ransom letters. He can't even cover the camera with his hand properly. I mean seriously who uses the edge of their palm to block a lens.
Whomever he is, he will be caught due to stupidity. Wherever it's a mistake he made during the crime or after. I don't believe this is a mastermind that LE is dealing with.

I’ve also felt that she may be in a neighborhood home this whole time. The searches have focused most heavily on the neighborhood with the outlier being the first raid south of Tucson in Rio Rico.

I have made maps of where gloves were found, various other searches (second raid with Range Rover and home, and air flight paths), but not sure if that’s allowed to be posted.

The last person to see Nancy that wasn’t a family member was the uber driver that took her to her daughter’s house, on the evening they had the dinner there. Then the next last non family member to see Nancy was the person who entered her home and removed her from it

Understand the confusion. The can tell it is not NG's DNA, because most likely it has a Y chromesome and females only carry 2 X chromsomes. I'm assuming they took a hairbrush or toothbrush to get Nancy's DNA but it could have come from anything she had touched, but most of the time we hear toothbrush or hairbrush.

Edit to add: If they are trying to separate DNA and its not NG's, then...hum....it would have to be 2 perps and thus the SO's office came out with the "could be two perps" most recently. Of Course, this is just IMO.

We don't know how she normally got to AGs house. Some people think it's odd or demonstrates a lack of care and concern for NG and some don't.

Is losing a job because media companies irresponsibly associated you with a violent kidnapping OK? I don't think so.

This experience may have had financial consequences for an extended family living paycheck to paycheck. CP was working a gig job for DoorDash to supplement regular employment and support his family. DoorDash quickly put out a statement assuring customers its drivers are not a safety threat. Understandably. Did they allow CP or a family member to continue delivering? I don't know.

Media outlets profited from reporting about CP. If CP or a family member lost employment as a result of their recklessness, he may be able to recover for lost income and damages. I hope an attorney is evaluating whether CP has a cause of action. Attorneys like that aren't ambulance chasers, in my opinion. They offer a means whereby we can hold the powerful to account for reckless damage to the little guy.

MOO - I am certainly no expert on DNA and not saying I have any knowledge or insight to suggest what specifically makes this separation complicated but here’s what came to my mind when i heard this. Separating mixed DNA can be complicated by several things including whether or not it is transfer DNA and what percent of the sample each person contributed. But one of the things that could also make it more complex is the possibility of the contributors being related to one another which really complicates separating each individual’s dna because they would have multiple shared markers. Many of us have long suspected multiple perps were involved in abducting NG. If there were two of them and they were brothers and each contributed equally to the sample they would share about 50% of their DNA in the sample which would be more complex to separate and if one contributed significantly more DNA to the sample than the other I would think that might make it even more challenging to separate and come up with 2 distinct DNA profiles of 2 unknown individuals. And what if there was a 3rd contributor? And what if that person was a cousin of the other 2 meaning there would also be shared markers but about half as much? I think of it like sorting socks - if I have identical twins it’s pretty easy to match them. If I have some black ones and some white ones, it’s pretty easy to separate them. But if I have several pairs of black socks which are slightly different in their designs it is more complicated to separate them. Not necessarily impossible but certainly means I have to take more time and a closer look to do so. A lab has to take a closer look at mixed DNA and perhaps use more than one method of separating the sample and use different - more expensive - equipment. Again MOO

CP appears very traumatized, IMO—the swallowing, the gulps of air. It helps me understand, as a new member, why the rules are so strict in this forum as to what is said about POIs and suspects.

Thank you for posting this. I appreciate you description of the physical manifestations of the trauma CP's going through.

I urge us all to extend compassion for CP's family as well. Put yourself in his mother-in-law's shoes. She arrived home at nightfall to find the doors of her home breached, her son in handcuffs, and armed SWAT officers scouring her house for the victim in a kidnapping she wasn't even aware of. For a Latino family in 2026, it had to be especially terrifying.

And yet the MIL was unwavering. She repeatedly stated there wasn't an elderly lady tied up in the small basement-less house that is home to her multi-generational family. She was adamant her son-in-law is not a kidnapper and doesn't resemble the masked man in images journalists showed her. She waited outside with cameras thrust in her face while SWAT teams turned her home upside down and the father of her grandchildren was detained. She was struggling to make sense out of something so out of the blue. It had to be utterly bewildering. And traumatizing.

The last few months brought home that we must stand up for the humanity of others and come to the aid of those experiencing trauma. I'm not a believer. But the saying "there but for the grace of God go I" reminds me to treat those in distress with empathy.
