It’s sad to me that there are so many negative assumptions and infantilizing of older humans
As much as there are vital elderly people, as many or more are there fragile ones.
People often speak of experience in their own surroundings so don't immediately put them away as judgemental, infantilizing or accusing of ageism.
Fact is that Nancy was known to have difficulty walking, wore a hearing aid (one or two, idk), had a pacemaker, not sure of other health issues, but also was still quite sharp in her mind.
Based on that one can say she was actually fragile, health wise.
If this was my mother i would worry more about something happening to her like falling or something then if she was completely healthy and still jogging around.

I get that people are very triggered by older people stereotypes. But the reality is many older people have their licenses taken away, live in nursing homes, have caretakers. There are some 90 year old who live independently, but that is the exception to the norm, not the norm.

News Nation is calling those at NG's home today a "group of investigators."

With all the unmarked suvs it looks like high ranking feds. I don’t think this has to do with PCSO, which I’m totally ok with!

I hope this is ok to ask. Is the black vehicle an LE SUV or possibly a Hearse?

ADMIN NOTE: We need a link to source for the pics or this post and responses will have to be removed and we don't want to do that.
IMO it looks similar to my car which is a Chevrolet Suburban which is what is used for a hearse. This vehicle is a Chevrolet Tahoe which you can see on the back in the above photo. It is shorter unlike the Suburban which is longer.

I had a weird idea when typing up another post trying to get to "my theory".

I vaguely remember something being mentioned about NG only recently joining that online church group. Did she recently stop attending physical church? Maybe some deranged person she met there thought she abandoned them or something like that?
Yes, there was alot of discussion about the church people, because, they were on, then off the timeline.
Also, the fact that NG watched church from a friend’s house, this wasn’t stated at first.

Maybe protecting church friends from scrutiny. Oh they wouldn’t hurt a fly…anyway this created questions at first.

On this forum, there were questions about her church friend’s children and grandchildren, as they maybe met NG. Found out she has a famous daughter ( maybe kidnap), Or NG saw the kids downtown Stealing, or doing drugs, could have started up a whole plan.

Maybe some people of faith can’t fathom their relatives doing a crime.
It’s just another connection to more people to look at.

Well-thought out plan and preparation, but never achieved their goal, why?
Greed.
Obviously not a perfect plan either - though well-thought out and sophisticated in some ways. Sophisticated enough to have stumped law enforcement, FBI, and any private detectives the family has hired so far.

Six million dollars was too much to ask for unless someone is a billionaire (in which case they have better security for their immediate family members so it’s a moot point)
Although Savannah had six million dollars to throw at this it’s still too much to ask for without a way to contact the kidnappers, negotiate or have true proof of life.

Hypothetically, if Savannah had decided to throw six million dollars into the crypto fund and Nancy was then returned alive in a timely manner, this would have opened Pandora’s box for every crook out there to start kidnapping elderly victims.

Obviously the local police and FBI advised Savannah against paying the ransom - as they should.

This case reminds me so much of the Idaho murders. No investigator would’ve first guessed that a random intruder would kill 4 innocent people, he didn’t know, in a matter of minutes. It defies the typical odds. I think that’s where this case is. It doesn’t make sense, because the chances of this happening are so, so statistically low with her age and lack of viable ransom. Moo
Yeah, seriously. We can talk about statistically likely things, but crazy and improbable stuff happens all the time. Any creep could've fixated on Nancy at any time, for any reason. We still don't know exactly how or why BK ended up fixating on his victims.

I just hope there's some concrete evidence somewhere along the way, or someone ends up talking for the reward. Savannah said people could call the tipline anonymously. There's no reason for someone to stay silent if they suspect who could've done this. Let's hope they're moved to report him.

This was in the thread with proper media link, but it was said she tuned in online with local friends to view the service on Sunday. She started watching online around covid time. The church service they watched was the same church Savannah attends states away, so not a local church.

lack of viable ransom? IMO they knew who her daughter was and the ransom hinges on that - one google search gave them Savannah's net worth

I believe the ransom notes were opportunists. If the ransom actually had any proof of life then I believe they may of paid it. Savannah said they would pay, but there wasn’t any proof or instructions. Giving a bitcoin address isn’t legit. If this was truly a kidnap for ransom then proper steps would’ve been taken right away. She’s 84, so maintaining her health isn’t something you want to risk if money is your motivator. JMO

Does anyone know if the two gem show thieves were ruled out as suspects?

I hope this is ok to post, but I just saw a video of 2 men at the Tucson Gem show where one of them allegedly took a Gold Specimen out of a case and the man in white pronates(walks on the outside of his right foot) as he walks in the 1st video and he bends like the perp w/backpack on porch in the second video. His facial shape and hair are similar to porch backpack perp. His accomplice is a little thinner carrying a large bag. Has this been brought to the Sheriff and FBI? I’m assuming so? Can someone confirm?
Link?

By viable I mean legitimate directions, like “the money goes here and she will be released there” or showing any proof that they actually have her alive. Anyone can give random details and a bitcoin address, that’s not enough to substantiate a ransom.

Yes, Nancy and SG had done that TV segment which showed them both in and around the area around November IIRC. Nancy would have been so easily accessible and vulnerable as we have learned.

A deranged mind, local to the area, might think of terrible things from robbery, kidnapping to SA. :(

Last night, I lay awake trying to make sense of what might have happened to NG. My thoughts kept circling back to that TV segment filmed in Tucson, most especially the footage inside their favorite restaurant. They looked so genuinely happy around that table, just a mother and her daughters sharing a joyful time.

It's heartbreaking to imagine that their warmth and contentment might have caught the eye of someone deeply troubled. Perhaps a worker there became fixated on them, envious or resentful of the love and connection they so clearly shared. Maybe seeing their happiness triggered something dark and irrational, an unbearable sense that 'it's not fair. The contrast between that bright, loving scene and the horror that followed is hard to shake. MOO
