I remember the big "C," and I remember wondering what the heck it was -- never found out what -- I figured it was from some brand name (like the Gap "G" or whatever), but I never knew what it was.

ETA: Chelly, there is a good archive for the Carson case in WRAL; it is comprehensive -- lots of stuff plus the entire trial stream, as you were watching:

Wonder what the hold up is? Maybe someone forgot they had jury duty?

  • #186
I can't believe we are already waiting on juror's. What will this judge say to them?

Hi, y'all -- Yep, we got a courtroom with those little courtroom noises -- Waiting for the already-convicted defendant & his posse, I guess. Well, I may become a grandmother today -- we're keeping gdaughter no. 1 and only today -- my DS and DIL are dropping her off here & headed for Duke Univ after to perhaps get another little girl today. Due tomorrow -- officially -- so we'll see what happens...

Justice for Abijit Mahato and his family & friends & the People of North Carolina!!!

Love you all!!

GM Borndem.

I don't know many of the details surrounding this crime and in a way I rather approach the trial like that. I am already prejudiced in that I know this man was found guilty of murdering a young lady, so I am already thinking more of the same from this 🤬🤬🤬🤬.

If the State has no or limited DNA then I would imagine the witnesses are strong. I think about poor LM and her body not being found but justice was served to one of the culprits. May kat burn in he11.

I believe there was for more air conditioning. Apparently the place is too hot (the defendant's complaint maybe?) or too cold...

Congrats Borndem grandchildren are the best!

Retired police officer. How long did this case take to come to trial?

  • #196
This CSI looks and sounds like a CSI, unlike last week's specialist.

I don't know what evidence the State has but I was replying to Borndem and her concern/s about the strength of this case.

It seems like most of these have retired. This one is much better and doesn't mind being here.
