Listenting to what I missed -- all this talk about Phillip Maybrey being involved in the Mahato robbery/killing -- why haven't they arrested that ~man~??

Should I start looking for him in the mugshots, too? Grrrrr. IMO, the Durham PD should be embarrassed. They're sure to have similar evidence for him as for LAL. And he gave a previous statement, although he "admitted" lying throughout.... :shame:

Good question, borndem, I wonder that, too. Maybe that's also why TT was so cagey. Phillip is her bro. I think his days are numbered, unless they just don't feel they can get a conviction. Maybe Shanita agreed to give them Atwater and Lovette, but won't go along with a 3rd prosecution for PM.

I'm also perplexed that Peggy Maybrey was so smiley and upbeat. Her son Demario is in prison for murder, her son Phillip appears to have murdered Mahato, TT was MIA with a warrant for her arrest and search underway, and one of her other sons was murdered. And now it appears that TT committed perjury today. Wow, talk about a messed up family. Maybe she's smoking the ganja with her kids to keep her spirits high. IMO of course.

Borndem and Boodles I won't take up the space and quote your post. The are very good post and along the lines of what I am thinking also. I think that family is thinking they are protecting one another when in reality we can all see right through them. If we can see we know the :copcar: can see it.

Do you think LE is waiting until after the trial, after Phillip Maybrey's testimony, to arrest him. They may be hoping he'll spill more this way.....with his three remaining brain cells.

Boodles, yes, what a family -- Another "eye opener" for those of us who are so fortunate not to have had any of this to happen to or around us. Again, thanks to Heaven.

I'm thinking that Peggy M. was being upbeat just to show that she feels things are okay -- not that she may be worried that she could lose another son to the NC Courts & possibly the Corrections Dept.

We're in a different world with this case -- and it's just so sad, tragic, and wrong.

Let's see what happens today -- I'll be out for a while midday -- doc appt & must-do errand. Keep it in the road, folks!!

Officer Donovan is refreshing -- "I like looking for stolen cars," with a little sly smile of pride, I think. He enjoys his job -- if I lost a car (nobody wants my 10-yr old sweet little Saturn but me), I'd call him altho I'm in another county!!

I wondered about that as well. IMO that brother and sister pair are both cut from the same cloth and deeply anti social individuals.
