Does anyone recall if Phillip Maybrey is subject to recall or was he completely released. I am interested in following what happens with this dude.

Yep, Chel, me too. I'll do my best to keep an eye on this dude. Durham County -- unless we find out something different to explain it -- just cannot let this go, IMO. Maybe LE is following him on some other angle of something we don't know about; or, they could be just waiting for this trial to conclude. They could be surveilling him now...

I figured out having the jury leave when the lawyers have a complicated objection. They don't have side bar's.

Is this up to the discreation to the judge for you NC people or the norm in NC?

It is interesting that this judge does not have bench conferences/sidebars. He sends the jury out when attorneys request "approach". I think this is a good way to limit disruptions.

It's up to His Honor -- da Boss. Some will have them, but most clear the jury. At least the jury gets to move & stretch & maybe pee quickly... ; - /

Yes we saw her testify early on., she worked the murder scene
