The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for Akia Denise Freeman of Rocky Mount, who is considered a missing endangered woman.Local residents are asked to be on the lookout for Freeman, 21, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. She is described as a 5-foot, two-inch black women weighing 182 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
She was last seen in the 100 block of North Pearl Street wearing a while T-shirt and blue jeans.
