Bradley Shoaf, 32, was last seen along Ridge Road in Davidson County early Sunday morning around 6:30 a.m. Before he went missing, he was riding in a truck with two other people when the truck slid off the road and landed in a ditch near Bud Sink Road.

His brother said Bradley left the car he was in and knocked on a few doors down the road asking for a ride but was turned down. He says his brother wandered off into the woods along the road and hasn’t been seen since. The other two people with him were able to get rides.

Also, he has been missing since Jan 12th; over a week now!

Doesn’t look good but hope he’s ok.

He was last spotted by a resident near Ridge Road and Bud Sink Road in the early morning hours Sunday. Shoaf has not been heard from since the accident and his cell phone was discovered in a ditch near where the accident occurred.

According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, Shoaf is also wanted on outstanding warrants for misdemeanor unauthorized use of and injury to property. Those charges were filed in November out of Lexington.

Yeesh-just noticed this bit. Wondering if he intentionally left it behind so as not to be tracked? More likely it was dropped after the wreck...

Why did the two others leave him, I wonder? If this happened late on Sat night, I wonder if alcohol and/or drugs were involved. MOO only.

Fuzzy brains and an overriding desire to get out of dodge before the cops were potentially called by one of the residents of that street, maybe? Otherwise, I can’t imagine leaving a buddy behind, especially if they were stumbling into the woods.

Very strange.

No new leads in two missing man cases

[...]

According to Capt. Cory Mann with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, Shoaf is also wanted on outstanding warrants for misdemeanor unauthorized use of and injury to property. Those charges were filed in November by Lexington authorities, he said. He is also wanted on a parole violation out of South Carolina, Mann said.

According to Mann, investigators have sent out information to residents in the Ridge Road area asking them to search their properties for Shoaf or any signs of a disturbance. Deputies are also offering to search properties for homeowners who are uncomfortable doing it themselves.

Investigators have exhausted all known leads on attempting to locate Shoaf, Mann said.

So strange, she posted that her cousin Bradley was missing then she went missing...

A mother of two who posted on social media that her cousin is missing, McNeal is now the object of a search after leaving her home two weeks ago. Then they found her dead from a car accident in a ditch...

KERNERSVILLE — A body found Monday afternoon in a wrecked vehicle south of Kernersville was confirmed as that of a mother of two who had been missing since Feb. 17.

A Forsyth County sheriff’s deputy received a report of a vehicle being found down an embankment, partially submerged in water, Winston-Salem police said. The vehicle, a 1989 Oldsmobile, was in a creek in the 7400 block of Watkins Ford Road.

A friend of Bradley Shoaf, who has been missing since January, said the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office contacted Shoaf’s family and asked for his dental records after a body was found near Ridge Road earlier this week.

The body has been sent to the state medical examiner’s office in Raleigh. Sheriff Richie Simmons said he would not comment further until an identification has been made.
