The Lumbee Tribe is the largest tribe in North Carolina, the largest tribe east of the Mississippi River and the ninth largest in the nation. http://www.lumbeetribe.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=135&Itemid=115

To me, she just looks mixed. Half black and half white much like my son and daughter.

I have been going to the Lumbee Pow Wow for many years. Great dancing.This is a strong community and many Lumbees will show to help find her and support her family.

God in Heaven I hope they find her okay.

Thanks, Kimi, for these transcripts...

these give quite a bit of information regarding events in her life... And her behavior leading up to her disappearance...

Good coverage but it's painting a picture I can't quite see yet;
<snip>
"But you just heard it. She stopped posting on Facebook. What would cause Danielle, a typical 15-year-old, to stop posting on Facebook in the weeks before her disappearance? "

I don't see this as accurate, even quite an exaggeration. She had posts on her FB as late as 3/7, Others were posting on her wall and she was liking and commenting. Going back to Christmas she was initiating more status updates herself, but that is a busy season and many people just wind down after the holidays.
She had that one period where she started a new Facebook page on 12/30 but only used it that one day. She had posted "time to start over" but then went back to posting on the original page.
I see ups and downs in her relationship and I see ups and downs in her activity.
But I don't see anything alarming and I don't see that she went silent on SM.
I Do, however see a 'typical 15 year old'.
What am I missing?

Do we have access to the other facebook page to see this for ourselves?

IMVHO, the HLN shows can sometimes be a double edged sword. The exposure is invaluable. However, they are notorious for misinformation, and that can be damaging to open investigations. :moo:

If we had the URL for her other page, If inactive, we could search the google webcache ourselves. You bring up good points. Lack of social media activity in a 15 year old's life (or a change for that matter) is worrisome.

~ upthread, right about ... here Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - NC NC - Danielle N. Locklear, 15, Hope Mills, 11 March 2014

~ Nancy Grace has made some errors more so, but yes, double edged.

~ Dannie had only been posting maybe every 3 days or so as far back as November - those that know her would know better though. The tone, wording, etc, even if it wasn't less... less vibrant, maybe?

Nancy Grace also featured Danielle on last night's show. The show covered several topics at once, so you have to read carefully to find Dannie within the transcript. Here is the link:

"GRACE: She was just going down the street to see her little friend, correct?"

<snip>
"GRACE: Oh! OK, everybody, we`re talking about Danielle Locklear, 5-1, 150 pounds, green eyes, Hope Mills, North Carolina, last seen. Tip line 910- 425-4103."

Her little friend - she's a teenager, 5-1, 150 pounds, what is she going to visit a toddler? As far as we know her "little friend" could be a 6' 180lb freshman football player.

<snip>
O`DONNELL: Well, police have been concentrating their search -- in addition to going door to door in the neighborhood, they`ve been concentrating their search on the Lazy Acres RV park. That`s a popular hangout on the banks of a creek nearby the grandparents` home, from where Danielle disappeared. And in fact, they did find a couple of articles of her clothing near that RV park

The hangout is on the bank of the creek less than 1/2 mile from home. The RV park is at least 5 miles from home meaning if she went there she was no longer on foot! This is important!
Her clothing was found at the creek not at the RV park. That's important too because as far as we know her phone last signalled near the RV park but that only means her phone made it that far. What if she didn't and whoever did something to her tossed her phone into the creek up that way?
I don't know, maybe the wide exposure outweighs the importance of the details.
