I think he is just that cocky. Too many signs point to husband, IMO. From the article w the friend he didn't like to leave her alone, plus she was a nurse and mom to a 10 yr old, I just don't see a secret boyfriend being possible.
Arrogant and controlling, perhaps? Work was her escape I'm sure. Hubby didnt mind because she was the breadwinner. Nursing ER schedule was probably flexible and maybe she worked nights and weekends because the pay was better? All JMO.

A lot of these wife killers (not on the whole, but in overall numbers), love to marry women from other countries.

They separate them from their friends and family, and this isolation serves their abusive behavior well.

It’s easier to control someone and fly under the radar, when they have nowhere to run to.

A woman should not be murdered just because she can' t tolerate an abusive and controlling husband any longer.

When I slipped on ice and broke my shoulder, I was leaning forward to step up onto the curb. My feet went out from under me and I fell mostly sideways. My arm took the brunt of the fall but my head hit the curb hard enough to leave a bruise and a headache on the side of my forehead right above my eye. And that was with snow to cushion me.

I think it probably wasn't a natural fall, and I would agree hitting hard enough to kill a person would be a fluke, but I can believe it would be possible, hypothetically.

I totally agree. His first wife's fatal head injury was from a fall. To me it seems the fall was not a "big" fall (not from very high).

There is a photo in the archive (from Amanda) that shows the BACK steps (in dark lighting). To me there can't be more than 4 steps (with rails). Not sure IF the rails were there in 2006 when first wife died.

Multiple photos of the home show the FRONT has only 3 steps (without rails).

***Forgive me if this was already noted. I still have a few more pages to read before I'm caught up on the thread.

A husband shouldn’t be abusive in the first place.

To facilitate your sleuthing capabilities, I offer up this quick little OT tutorial. All JMO IMHO.
In Amazon, under Accounts & Lists, click on Wishlist. Wishlist-Default list (And Shopping List, if you have one) show up. Either marked Public, or Private. Click on the list you want to look at. Wishlist-Default should already be highlighted. On the side should be a "More" button. Clicking on that gives you Manage List, and Print List. Clicking on Manage List opens up that list. Here you can choose Public/Private (and a couple other settings), as well as Delete List at the bottom. Clicking on Save Changes updates your preferences. Clicking Cancel negates any changes.

[ ... Respectfully snipped by borndem...]
Thanks much, Jim M, for the tutorial!! Very good instructions and information! I feel much "sleuthier" now!!

Truer words never written. However, easier said than done. Teach your children now - girls to be independent and strong and boys to be caring and appreciative. Both being respectful of others!

Are those 🤬🤬🤬🤬 videos in his wish list? I’m not about to click on one to read the description!

I also wonder if this guy has any income of his own or if she was the only one providing for the family. Will he be able to lawyer up if it comes to that or will he have to rely on a public defender? But I’m getting ahead of things...

I did not want to click on them either and have them show in my recent browsing history but I think your assumption is correct.

It’s soft core stuff. Think Cinemax.

You are right about that. I think children learn by example, what they see in their own homes. Most relationships and marriages usually don't start out with abuse. It develops over time.

Just take a look at that house, for example. The fact that it is in a dilapidated state would be a source of contention between a working wife and a husband who stayed home. That alone would be a cause for disharmony in the house (IMO).

IMO, men (and maybe women) prey on weaklings. DAK was from another country and maybe cultural differences. Then that coupled with the Amazon Wishlist...even had she not have died, it couldnt have been the happy life she thought she would have coming to the States.

It is so sad that her life has ended, and in this horrible way!
