Yes. On a constant basis. Every main highway overpass sign shows an Amber Alert. State Government main pages show her Amber Alert & Picture - so any form of government employee sees it while working. It’s on every local news channel.

Thank you for this. I like hearing it. I'm just a few hours away but haven't seen anything much on it here, except the day of.

Ex: law enforcement, probation, parole, social workers, prison personnel, administration..multiple people who could have seen this person...

Wondering where those pictures were taken, visiting someone Sunday afternoon?

To me, typical Sunday family picture would be dressed for church.

Plus that ottoman doesn’t look like it’s been out in the weather. Especially with all the rain in that area. It would have been a soggy wet mess.

To try and help find the perp I too suspected that maybe the pictures were posted somewhere and may have triggered the perp to act the day after he saw them. I had mentioned this right after those pictures came out because the pictures are too nice to be normal pictures. Its like she was posing and knew they were going to be put somewhere online.

If we knew where they may have been posted then we may be able to see who all was on that same site possibly. Hopefully LE has thought through this too by now.

They were not ordinary selfies. Too nice of pics and she was posing.

ETA I even zoomed in to look at the back woods to see if I saw anyone back there that may have spotted her. Didnt see anything obvious except for a few holes in the fence that the perp may have been peeking through.

I hope she didn't fall for some type of online "modeling" scam to lure her into sharing her location.

There were also signs of violence, however the causes of death remain "undetermined". You can read more about them, including autopsy reports, in their thread: Found Deceased - NC - Megan Oxendine, 28, Christina Bennett, 32, and Rhonda Jones, 36, Lumberton, Apr/Jun 2017
So probably all 3 were drug related. And the way they were found, gang related. All 3 were doing drugs. Probably got them from the same place, local gang, IMO. Anyone else notice the black man standing on the corner when Megan Oxendine was talking to reporter? IMO he looks like he could be the man walking in video. Just an observation.

Are you talking about the man seen at about 5:53 into this video below?

I really don't see any similarities. At all. But if anyone does they should call the tipline for Hania just in case. I think these cases are unlikely to be related as it is in a different part of town and circumstances are very different. But if you are going to point out random people in the background of videos as possibly being the walking man in Hania's case, please send that info into the police rather than posting it on a public forum. As far as I know, those type of scammers/traffickers don't send people to jump out of the woods and kidnap prospective models in their own family vehicles. They usually lure the girl to a location for a fake photo shoot and give her drugs, etc. According to Hania's mom she wants to be a Marine when she grows up. Marines are beautiful human beings in my opinion, but that seems to be the polar opposite of wanting a modeling career. JMO.

Not being familiar with NC, I had the same question, and found the ambient temp is not the issue--It's the humidity! Temp was in the mid 60's, and humidity more than 70%.
Pre-start/warming would definitely be helpful to clear the windshield and widows of overnight condensation before getting on the road. MOO
You got that right!

Drug users don’t deserve to be murdered either. They are daughters, sisters, mothers...etc! Not that you did this at all, but sometimes I feel they are dismissed because of their life choices. I see it as a mental illness and they should be treated as the fragile beings we all are.

I agree. Watch that video and Megan's family says she had only struggled with drugs for a year. She was working hard to try to get herself clean and stay clean for her kids. Her family believes she would have turned her life around had she not been murdered. There is a quote in that thread that says it really well-- about how no matter what they got involved in those girls were human and they were loved. They didn't deserve to be put in trash cans and left inside an abandoned house like trash.

Off my soapbox now and back to Hania: her mother breaks my heart every time I watch her speaking at the prayer vigil. I just want to hug that woman. She is very strong to speak out against the people saying untrue things about Hania. I hope her faith will sustain her until Hania is returned.

ETA: You can see Hania's mom speak about 2 minutes into this video:

You're right. I absolutely agree with you. I have a family member who is an addict. I was merely stating the they were all drug users and knew each other so they were probably involved with the same people, IMO drug dealer/gang member. I can't imagine anyone else doing this to them unless they were in a gang. No one deserves what happened to them.

I've watched both videos over and over. You can't see the faces in either one. Same build is really about all. Seems as though Megan starts looking really scared just before he shows up on the video. Not enough to go on I know.

Doesn’t matter at all if they used drugs. If they were wealthy or poor. Nothing matters except finding the killer and prosecuting him to the fullest extent.

that was out of left field. What would make you think that?

Well when I was younger in the early 70s in Miami you received all kind of offers from Barbazon (?). In the 2000 my daughter received a lot of offers from a modeling company. We ignored and moved on.

Just thinking of the new photos and posing, wondered if she was enticed to do them and share with someone nefarious. It really isn't out of left field - we don't know if she was communicating with anyone online and through social media at all.

I wish Gray Hughes had not started out his broadcast with statements suggesting Hania might have had something to do with her disappearance. She was forced into a vehicle against her will and family and neighbors heard her screaming and saw it happen. This wasn't a plan she made to runaway or else she would not have screamed nor fell to the ground as the man forced her into the SUV. That said, the way GH locates where the videos of the walking man were taken and the visual enhancements he does of the videos are very interesting and valuable for discussion of the case. JMO.
