Ime, as IANAL, her sister will have to demonstrate to a judge that Heather is not competent to manage her own affairs. The judge will also hear from Heather and her representation (a limited GAL appointed specifically for this matter). If it is decided that she is not competent, the scope of the GAL will be litigated and decided. It could be very broad, or it could be limited to a specific matter. I suspect with the parents’ aging and Heather’s continued dangerous behavior, the family would consider an alternative living situation, such as a group home with 24/7 care and supervision. But that is speculation. Not very familiar with the GAL process. If granted, what would that mean for Marie? Could she be institutionalized against her will?
Seems like a terrible thing to do. But how can you protect someone in this condition if not? As I’ve said previously this is a nightmare for her family. We’re only seeing a small portion of what they have likely experienced with Marie since 2015.
I assumed this was from a confession of some sort.adding from https://www.cbs17.com/news/local-ne...ille-woman-found-dead-in-homicide-police-say/
SNIPPED:On Saturday, police said detectives on Friday were led to a wooded area near Newark Ave. and State Ave. where Williams was found dead
SNIPPED: “The Police Department’s Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation. This remains an active investigation,” police said in the release Saturday
I wonder what or who led them to the woods?
Yes, what a tragic outcome for a young woman who'd already suffered so much in her short life.Devastating.

I looked for him a few moments ago in the Cumberland County jail roster, and he is not listed currently. Was just about to add/say the same thing my moneys on ex/husband R.I.P Heather
I'm the same with the amount of cases on this site I get randomly attached to a few where I follow everything and others what are similar i have a quick read through and they seam to melt/slip away for a while where I'll stumble across them againI have been pursuing this website for a couple of weeks and HMW case drew me in. It was one of the first cases on this website where I was following it everyday, thinking about before falling asleep, wishing for her to be safe. Heck, I made this account just to "Watch" this thread. I don't know why I was so drawn to it. Nevertheless, this news saddens me more than I imagined. I'm so sorry for the Williams family. Most people don't start the new year mourning the loss of their daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, friend.
