I haven't been about to find out much at all...while looking for more info tonite, I found that there'd been a gag order issued just before LE was to have a presser a few days ago....they'd announced they had a new lead, then apparently said during presser they can't talk about anything....Scary to think what they might find on the RSO's computer.

A superior court judge has issued a gag order in the case of a missing Scotland Neck teenager.

After a search Monday, Scotland Neck Police Chief Joe Williams said there was a lead which he would discuss more the next morning at a news conference. That news conference was delayed by more than an hour as police were at the District Attorney's Office. Police then told the media they could not discuss details of the case.

New developments in the search for a missing Scotland Neck teenager. Now a judge has stepped in and issued a gag order to police.

Even before nine on your side learned of the gag order, the Scotland Neck Police Department, Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, and even the SB,I refused to answer any of our questions. But on the 10th day of the missing person investigation, the teen’s family was willing to speak today more than ever.

SCOTLAND NECK — A $500 reward is now being offered by the Scotland Neck Police Department for information leading to the whereabouts of 18-year old Jelesa Reynolds, of Clarkville Drive, according to Chief Joe Williams.


Williams said law enforcement continues to process evidence in the case.

Nothing....I check every day & I guess the gag order has LE quiet....it sounds very serious if there's a gag order this early in the investigation.

IDK but we may not hear anything until there's a break in the case - as in they found her.

Praying that whatever news we hear next is good news....her poor parents - living every day knowing the last place she was, was at an SO's house.

Still no sign of a missing 18 year old girl from Scotland Neck.

It’s been exactly two weeks since anyone saw Jalesa Reynolds.

Police say she checked her Facebook account for the last time on February 22nd at a home on Cemetery Road.

Investigators say the man who lives there is a person of interest.

They searched the woods in that neighborhood twice last week, but found nothing.

And on Friday, dive teams searched a section of the Roanoke River.

A judge has placed a gag order on police.

There is a 5 hundred dollar reward for any information that would find her.

WTH is up with a $500 reward???!!! I don't think I've seen a reward in recent years that was less than $1000!!

Sadly, I don't think she will. She does not fit the profile. She is not an attractive young white girl or a cute toddler IMO

I read that this morning - and yeah - it's scary even tho Pittman is in jail.

I wish the media would report something about her -- instead of just nothing day after day....just to keep her case out there in case someone knows something.

It’s been weeks since anyone has seen or heard from 18 year old Jalesa Reynolds of Scotland Neck.

Nine On Your Side spoke to family members today who says they are still holding up “pretty strong” that the teen will return home.
