my understanding is that it was emergency svcs that asked the question of TM, he appeared to reply in the affirmative immediately and after a v brief pause he qualified it by stating.. 'during the day'
I thought it an unusual question for the emergency people to ask.. and when the toxicology showed such a low c2h5oh blood content, I thought TM had lied and I wondered why. Then again, the quality of the recording was very poor..
Getting back to aLansby's excellent observations re the autopsy and the broken nose, it is indeed most likely that only a man would have the skill to do this with his bare fist.
To that end should we not be looking at the case in terms of TM being the chief suspect here? The evidence points to that.. if the fractures had been caused by an implement it is likely skin would have been broken.. this is more like an uppercut..
I doubt its possible to tell on forensics whether this blow preceded the attack with weapons, or followed it, the former is the most likely.. its possible this blow could have knocked JC to the ground if he had been standing at the time.
It is not likely that such a blow was rendered to a man lying asleep
We need to rethink, methinks.
Well done you ALansby for going through the autopsy in such meticulous detail. I missed it and had to search for it because it was not mentioned immediately though it should have been obvious on superficial examination of the body..

Am wondering now whether there is more pertinent detail contained within that document....?

Wow!! Thanks stephanddoody! You're an outstanding Websleuth! Wonder if she bought all of these. Some were very creepy...:gaah:

Thank you there were an awful lot more the photographer must have removed them . This case has literally taken over my life and I want so bad justice for Jason, his children and his family. I have spoke to his co workers and they all respected him but didn't have a bad word to say about him they are heart broken they put a memorial outside his office here are the pics :-(

Here's what Molly said on FB.

"I have not heard your voice and supposedly, the hundreds of cards of I have sent to you have not made it to your hands.
I will never forget our tears or your pleadings on that day.
I will never forget that ten minutes prior to being taken from my arms you were happily getting out things to pack your lunches for the first day of school.
I will never forget that I begged for more time to gather some things for you to take to the hotel where you would be staying "temporarily" with your "temporary guardians." I will never forget their response. "No, we need to leave right now."

So where did her attorney get the idea the children were removed in "the middle of the night?"

The quotes that you saw in the papers from David Freedman came from an interview he did on 23rd August 2015 on national radio. You can hear his interview here. (starts at 23.10)

He does touch upon the issues/problems within the marriage also.

Edit:-
He also did another interview two days beforehand, on Friday 21st August 2015. His interview starts at 1.39.30

My Gaelic/Irish isn't what it should be - what is the translation of the last line?

I may have got it wrong but I thought I read the kids were taken by social services when they were all staying at her brothers house. I think his wife did the interview. I'll try and find the link. It said Sarah was outside on her bike, jack was in the house and Molly was still in her swimsuit... Unless it was a midnight swim it was obviously during the day... Also if they were in her brothers house how were they getting lunches for school unless he lives very close to the Corbett house. Were they moving school? And what a delusional comment.. "Happily" picking things for their lunches... Their beloved daddy was 2 weeks dead. How could anything have been happy...

Thank you. Reading the translation got to me. :shamrock::cry:

Your welcome. I am guessing that it would have been a term he would have used when greeting his colleagues & I suspect they also learned to say it too. The fact that this was written on the plaque by his colleagues shows his character, proves to me that he was very well thought of.

When someone asks you to say something in Irish if you are overseas, this term is usually the first one that you come up with as it was drilled into you at school, considered a nice greeting. Often copied back when they can get their tongues around the pronunciation. (Cun-is taw to)

I am not very good at copying links - I hope this is right! This is the link regarding the removal of the children during the day! Yes, 150KM away from their school, packing their lunches.... "happily"...

Thanks fido, no midnight snatch then. Even MM was in her bathing suit.

The link to the article is http://www.independent.ie/irish-new...hildren-were-taken-from-martens-34348379.html Your link was the search of all articles but was easy to find within.

Interview with MM on Classic Hits 4fm. Now before you listen to it, bear in mind that this particular host would not be highly regarded in Ireland & he was slated afterwards for holding this interview. This interview happened shortly after MM tried to hire a plane to fly a birthday banner over Limerick, when the initial company found out what it was for, they refused it. A second company agreed to do it, was an American company but they had to get someone from Ireland to fly the plane, when the pilot found out what it was he refused to do it. Also at that time, MM tried to take out a full page ad in the main Limerick paper, they also refused to do it.

I was very proud off this. Shows the high esteem held for the Corbetts not many would refuse the money. Also shows Molly wasn't believed even before all the evidence against was available interesting she has no friends in Limerick either even though she spent 4 years here .irish are quite are friendly bunch

Not related to the slayer law. Did MM have to apply for an elective share?

http://info.legalzoom.com/north-carolinas-inheritance-law-22357.html
[h=2]Current Spouses[/h] Unless spouses are divorced prior to a deceased's death, a surviving spouse is always entitled to inherit from the deceased spouse's estate. If a surviving spouse is disinherited, North Carolina permits the surviving spouse to seek an "elective share" from the probate court. The surviving spouse must file a petition with her request no later than six months after the court issues letters testamentary to the executor of the estate, authorizing him to collect and distribute the deceased's property. The spouse is then entitled to inherit an elective share of one-half of the estate if the deceased is survived by no more than one child. If there are two or more children to inherit the deceased's estate, the surviving spouse's elective share is limited to one-third of the estate.

i think Slayer Statute would superimpose
...unless, she appealed prior to the indictment and prior to when the bank accounts became frozen.. its a possibility..
