Who killed Jonathan Flowers? | Randolph County deputies offer $5K reward for info about his murder
RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — The Randolph County Sheriff's office wants your help solving a cold case.
Two people were shot early Thursday morning in Ramseur on June 16, 2021. One of them died, according to deputies.
It happened around 1 a.m. at the Town and Country Mobile Home Park also known as Deep River Haven on Highway 64 West.
Deputies found 21-year-old Tashara Nachelle Simmons, of Mount Gilead, NC, and 18-year-old Jonathan Monte Flowers, of Burlington, who'd been shot while sitting in a car.
Simmons was taken to a local hospital and her condition was unknown at the time.
Flowers died at the scene.
Deputies are still looking for the person who pulled the trigger.
Crime Stoppers is offering $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
The investigation is ongoing.
