I hope she goes to Al-Anon, and if she doesn't she should.

WORD... she is one hell of an enabler, and I've seen my share.

p.s. Greek yogurt and mango rule.

I'm not quite certain he's a sociopath. I certainly don't put him in the 'Bundy' catagory. He does appear to be extremely narcicissitic (sp?), but a true sociopath, just not sure. Perhaps, had he received proper treatment as a child.......

Bundy was a psychopath and a serial killer. Psychopaths are ordered, ritualistic, intelligent, sometimes very educated, able to plan.

JW doesn't care about other people's feelings and doesn't have impulse control and doesn't either learn from his mistakes or is able to stop from repeating his behaviors. A sociopath is less organized in his or her demeanor, nervous and easily agitated — someone living on the fringes of society, without solid or consistent economic support. A sociopath is more likely to spontaneously act out in inappropriate ways without thinking through the consequences.

"The baby", not "my grandchild". Hmmmm. I think I am not liking mom much anymore.

Turns out the baby was not Jason's and was not a grandchild. A DNA test proved JW was not the father...several months later.

I have a migraine (weather) and can't remember what Mrs. and Mrs. W. (parents) do for a living. Can anybody help me please?

Thank you for the clarification. I had not heard about a baby before now so I didn't know.

Oh, ooops. Thx for clarifying :blushing:

Now, about 12 step programs -- she has NO CLUE what they are about. And believe you me, I do know.

Why are the pros not calling hearsay to a lot of this?

The do not want to appear to be unsympathetic to the mother so they are allowing a bunch of junk to come in.

Mom: "When Jason really put his mind to it, he could get it done." (or words to that affect) -- he got his GED -- he finished a semester at Wake Tech ...good traits for premeditation -- he was NOT a lost cause, folks, not at all. It wasn't that he couldn't do it; he just didn't want to do it.

His problem was self-motivation, selfishness, giving a damm, and laziness. JMO

Thanks for the warning. Extremely cloudy out this way, but not the dark, threatening clouds, yet. And far away thunder rumbles.

He tells quite elaborate lies for someone who is nuts IMO.

I can barely hear the attorneys. Meh.

Prosecution time.... hold on to your seat, mom.

Wowee wow. So, at what point do you stop "helping" your child and set them out in the world to get their own insurance, roof over their head, money, etc. I am sorry, but although this is difficult for parents in this situation - it is better to set the drowning person free so that they can learn to swim....if you always rescue them, they never learn how to swim independently. I hope I never have to face this problem.

Right.... NOW her memory will turn from super accurate and detailed to dizzy and fuzzy. Witness credibility FAIL.

yes, i knew some people like this. they would lie about even the things that did not need to be lied about. it's as though they can't tell the truth. you always have to try and figure out if what they are saying is true or not. it's a real drag. the funny thing is, it seems to be that they like to embellish and add on details....the more the details the bigger the lie.

So lady, if you wanted so to help your kid, why didn't you tell his treating doctors about JW having sex with vegetables? *oh snap*

You're right, I'm hearing it as I type.
