Judge G. voice is SOOOO high pitched!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got Judge G. in my left ear and Fox News (JE trial) in my right ear. Not pleasant. Both are guilty on all counts!

LOL!

Jury instructions are kind of zzzzzz. Important for them to pay attention though.

Glee, I was worried! Knew you would not miss the big finish! :cupcake: The big advice is just what everyone said, push fluids, one of the cold and flu and allergy combos - especially the powders that you mix with water - around the clock until you feel better. Rest, hot compresses around the sinus areas and nice hot showers. I also use a neti pot but some folks are grossed out by it. And here's the biggest advice: set yourself free from anything stressing you out. Trial almost done now, and we can rejoice that justice will prevail. Good will ALWAYS win over evil...and it is interesting how evil can be packaged. I'll intercede for you today. xxoo :cheer::bananalama::praying:

Thank you dear, the cough is the worst right now. Taking Robitussin DM for it, no success. Two of my daughters & my little granddaughter have all had mono/pneumonia type illnesses over the last two months. I'm laying on my bed right now, just out of the shower, eating chicken soup, mostly broth. this sort of hit me fast & hard. :( Thank you all, been here through the whole case, just wanted to let you all know I'm here, just not feeling well at all. Thank you all, love you all.

I agree with you all. Mr. Saacks did a fantastic job throughout this whole trial, really, and his closing statement was spectacular! I really was not at all impressed with any of the defense lawyers. I understand that Jason is a very difficult person to defend but I don't think they did a very job selling what little bit of a case they had.

I agree it's not a saleable defense. All they can do is concede he did the crime and try to garner some sympathy from someone on the jury to avoid JW getting the DP. Saacks shot that down at every level.

Hearing Edwards verdict to be announced at 3:00. Don't care a whit about him, but feel extremely sorry for the two little ones, and Cate. :(

Edwards jury, hung jury on most counts, judge will send them back.

Was the female who continued to smile at him during the trial and again last week an alternate or a real juror, do you know?

I think she was an alternate, but I'm not sure. My guess would be the one count they've agreed upon is a not guility. Personally, as much as I am revolted by Edwards, I don't think he's guilty of these charges. I think his wealthy *freinds* gave him the money to hide his girlfriend & illegitimate child and not as campaign donatons. JMO

Verdict Watch, so who thinks today, who thinks tomorrow?

I concur. :rocker:

If I were on the jury it was be the proverbial slam dunk and I'd already be standing in line to re-enter the courtroom with a verdict. Even if the entire jury feels the same, I'm sure they will take some time just so it will appear that they appropriately did their job. I just don't know how in the world they could come back with anything but 1st degree on all 3 charges.

No verdict today. They'll spend the first 30 min to 50 min decompressing and sharing feelings because they haven't been able to do that with anyone. Maybe they'll spend all the way until 5pm doing that. Then they have to read through all the charges and the law. That will take at least an hour. Then start discussing it. Might debate some things. I think the 2nd degree vs. 1st degree is where there will be the biggest discussion. Also on the matter of did he go into the house intending to commit a rape. That's a sticky one. I'd have to discuss that one myself because I don't know. He intended it once he walked into the BR, but upon breaking into the home was that the intent? Not sure.

Probably a verdict by end of day tomorrow.

I'm going with Monday morning verdict.

re: Verdict watch. I don't think it'll be that quick. There will be one of two very careful folks on the jury....detail oriented..who want to have all the answers, which is impossible. Some things we will never know. I know he did it, I know the facts as presented. I will review. The things I'm hung up on....JW carrying that freaking rock around inside the house, and whether KT had panties on under pajamas. Did he snack before or after? Those things to me are bothersome. Like I said before, carrying that rock around unless he was intending to use it, doesn't make sense. and was it a rock? We don't know. If KT had on underwear, he never mentioned it, and he sure mentioned a lot of other things. If he took them, there you go. classic trophy. If he had a little snack afterwards, then he was calm, hungry and in no hurry! And even though I feel a little pity for his madness - I think he is like others, incurable. We may as well get out our wallets, because we're paying. However, I also would like to know what early events caused him to become this way, or is it the way he was born? It is evident from his writings that he has had moments when he wished he was different.

Snipped by me.

You sum it up beautifully, so I won't add anything.

Mistrial declared in EDwards case.

I think there will be a verdict in the JW case tomorrow. JMO but after the testimony of Dr. Nicole Wolfe, I feel pretty good about predicting a 'guilty' of first degree murder.
