Yeah, I think he's dumb like a fox. He's an arrogant azz IMO. It will be interesting to see if it will appear that he/the defense planted evidence (ala the "dagger knife") in the Durango. I just can't imagine him taking the Durango out of evidence after it was processed out the kazoo, and voila! suddenly finding a "dagger knife." Possible, I guess, but smells awfully fishy. Plus, he's a criminal himself.

I was just going to comment how shocked I was at defendant's NON reaction to those coolers.
