Thanks SurfieTX for that excellent explanation. It makes a lot of sense to me. Do you know if Amanda broke up Grant's and Laura's marriage? (I am currently watching Grant's trial......)

Grant and Laura were together when he met Amanda in the Virgin Islands. Laura was pregnant with Gentle.
So I guess you could say yes, Amanda broke up their fake marriage (Laura thought they were married but it turns out they were not, something she found out years later. I still am not sure how that came to be).

ETA- If you are watching the trial then this info will come out, not sure at what point though. Perhaps when Lauras friends take the stand (Heidi maybe).

Right, According to Laura's friends, Grant didn't sign the marriage certificate. (spent nearly all day viewing the GH trial, fast-forwarded through the nearly identical testimony that occurred in the AH trial last week.) Amanda's family.....what a piece of work. Sha appears so normal and balanced compared to the rest of them. I hope Sha has a great life ahead. She deserves it.

Now I am curious about Grant's family. I understand his parents have custody of Grant's boys and Lily. Too bad, I think.

I missed the beginning of Day 2 so I am watching it now.
This 201 phone number thing is a big part of it with Det. Gwartney.

So since Gaskins said the full number I did a little googling.

It is just some kind of number you call to access voice mail. Like an alternate access if you can not get the "1" to work on your cell (as most phones these days have). I will post a couple of things I found on a forum-

"I just migrated from Verizon to Cingular for my work phone.
I'm having problems calling my voicemail when pressing/holding 1, I get Invalid Phone number.
Calling Customer Service gave me a # to dial, but I have to type in my 10 digit # after I get connected, quite annoying!! I guess I could dial my own # but I would think Cingular would have a better solution."

"man at at&t store told me that it's # for one of the cell towers in NJ. in some emergency, he could not explain which/or how it works, your call in/out is being diverted to this #. it's very strange!!!"

"I recently purchased my phone and it is automatically showing 201 *** **** as conditional call forwarding activated ...strange! Need to check with AT&T...
Also when I try to call voice mail it is calling 201 *** ****...How strange is that??"

So what I am trying to think through is why is this so important to Gaskins?
Grant called this number right after Laura called him 4:59 pm on the 13th. He also called it a bit later.
Anyone have any ideas on what he might be getting at?
I know he is pushing that it is what drug dealers use, but it seems to be a form of back up for cell companies.

The only thing I can think, Boods, is that maybe Boz wanted to show that they were very limited on their funds -- GH obviously (and what a surprise this is) didn't have any/enuff $$ to chip in a buck and a half to keep the mouthwash in the purchase, and apparently whatever they had bought -- all apparently having to do with body disposal & hiding it -- was more important than oral hygiene. Classy bunch.

Yes, good points. I do believe their are reasons to why they show all of this. But I am still sitting their shouting at the screen for them to get on With it lol good judgment born!

I don't know what setup they may have recently tried, but the gallery has generally never been able to see sensitive/autopsy pictures in prior trials and this includes the 2 trials I attended in person (and thus was in the gallery).

Did everyone have a chuckle at Gaskins motion this morning lol He must have seen all the comments on the net accusing the DT of planting the knife.

Once I heard about the john boat evidence to be presented today, I just knew it would be the discovery of the remains.

IIRC and from what I've just heard, the body parts were dumped out of the plastic bags. It sickens me just to hear the description of the site. In the GH trial, they did show video of the water lilies that blocked the creek.
