The defense is going to need a bunch of AH character witnesses, plus Karen, to testify that AH was frightened of Grant and under his control.

Yeah, he is really banking on this boat scenario he is trying to scare up. He is all over the place and is really coming off as a complete idiot. He's almost senile. If I had a quarter for every time he said "refresh my memory" I'd be in Cancun right now. Certainly he isn't trying to set her up for a mistrial due to incompetence :facepalm:

Lol! The most recent director I had to work for would say, "... Remind me again..." about everything, as if he ever knew it in the first place. And he literally did nothing and didn't show up to work except one or two days a week, if that. Lazy, lazy, useless guy. "Retired" but hasn't told anyone yet so he gets his $$$. :-\

You can be sure that Karen probably kept the kids while Grant and Amanda went banking and shopping. I'm also wondering if the garbage can was found. It could be that they dumped all the remains into the can and put the can on the boat.

After seeing Karen testify in Grant's trial, I don't know that I would count on her as a good character witness for Amanda. These 2 ruined that family's lives. And considering it was Karen that Amanda gave the "confession" to, I think if anything she will be a witness for the prosecution.

And does Gaskins not realize that it's the law to have the kids in the back seat? He really is off his old, cranky, senile rocker :floorlaugh:

I think the most damning testimony against Amanda was in the GH trial when Amanda's sister, Karen, testified that Amanda admitted to her: "I hurt Laura, I hurt her bad."

Hope we hear those words from Karen's mouth again.

Heck, if a kid did have a car seat in his day, it was a little cloth baby holder (like the bottom of a cotton onsie) with a frame to hang over the seat. Not even seat belts back then.
