I never understood it. He paid all taxes on his income and didn't cheat anybody. They convicted him because he was late depositing the funds into his bank. I never understood it, but he's done his time and is back practicing law. I still respect him.

I always wondered why with 2 little boys running around, why would a mother carry an infant in her arms to have a meal in a restaurant with no help. I still don't get that. I'm thinking that up front in the Durango (passenger seat) was Lily in a bundle of blankets without a carseat. AH must've had to leave the apartment lickety-split. Too bad she didn't get pulled over that night.

No, they convicted him because he purposely structured the deposits of all that money in order to avoid IRS filing requirements on cash deposits. He knows the law, and he knew better.
