I have in my notes that the 9/9/19 trial date has been delayed....

Hope we hear something concrete soon. I've got two trials now starting up at same time. Planning on traveling to Sidney Moore's trial for kidnapping Heather Elvis near Myrtle Beach, SC but I also want to attend trial for Mariah Wood's murder in Jacksonville, NC. Decisions, decisions.

I can't believe it's nearly been 2 years and there's still not even a date for this trial.

Just checked the Onslow County docket for Kimrey -- just the old speeding ticket is on the docket for that ~man~ and nothing else. I guess this county just doesn't have the staff to handle the volume of serious Superior Court trials. And since it's a DP case, that will slow it even more.

He is still cooling his heels in the Onslow County jailhouse:

They do indeed. I remember reading somewhere about the situation and the reasons why there is a backlog. 14 months wait will be worth it to get justice.
