Kristina's mom is on the stand now... saying she was going to take Travion into her family, but that Travion's dad wouldn't let her unless she took the dad back into her life too.

What I don't get is that, if she and her daughter are so choked up about Travion wanting love/needing a place to live, etc, why didn't they do more at the time. Are they just upset now?

I love that the prosecution is all, "why did you force your daughter to go to her dad's house if abuse of that kind was going on?"

Mom regrets making her daughter go over there... "I wasn't perfect as a parent."

"You were aware of the abuse, and for 16 years, you forced her to go over there?"

She said a 6 year old describes the abuse differently than an adult does now.

The mom didn't call CPS about the abuse.

Jennifer Myers (teacher) on the stand now. "Teaches exceptional children."

exceptional = behavioral or emotional disabilities (BED)

Teacher is obviously upset (seems on the verge of tears consistently).

Pete Rich on the stand now. He's the director of the Right School.

Looks like we're both posting tweets. I'll stop. Let me know if you need help. :)

I'll be out most of the afternoon -- leaving soon, so you might want to continue tweeting for us, if you can! I started doing it because no one else was "here."

This girl (Travion's half sister - same dad), has some Jodi Arias level crying going on. She seems to be overcome by her emotions, but there are no tears on her face. The worst part is that those actions make me question what she's saying... if she's faking her emotions, what else is she faking/being untruthful about?

ETA: WAIT! Tears!

I had that feeling all through her testimony -- I think she was truthful about her feelings for TS -- they were close, both in age and in their feelings for each other, but I think she may have been exaggerating in trying to help her brother here in the courtroom. Perhaps, and IMO.

Ouch -- Shekita got this witness -- TS's math teacher in middle school at the Longview School. The teacher was very complementary of TS, and then Shekita asked him if he was aware of a pretty long list of suspensions from that school -- one- or two-day suspensions for fighting or pushing. The teacher did not remember these events at all.
