4-day old girl was stabbed six times in the head, sister was stabbed in the neck

A 4-day-old girl whose body, along with that of her older sister, was found in a car in Hoke County on March 25, was stabbed six times in the head, according to an autopsy report.

The infant also had cuts on her mouth, torso and arms, and had fractured ribs and an arm, according to the report, which was released this week by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh.

The older child was stabbed in the neck, the report said.

Just reading this story...this is awful. I can only pray that this perp gets the max sentence and is never around any children ever again. How could anyone think it was a child's fault who his/her father was?? My heart aches.

A jury sentenced Tillman Freeman, 35, to death after he pleaded guilty to first-degree murder. Police say he killed his two young girls in a car near the intersection of N.C. Highway 211 and Army Road.
