There is a tornado watch out for the Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg area right now. My granddaughter (USAF) called me on her lunch break.

I am so thinking of little Shaniya today. There are days when I cannot get her off my mind. May this little Angel rest in peace.

I had always struggled with the death penalty, but in cases such as this I am all for it and would do the lethal injection myself!

IKWYM, I don't think that I and many others will ever forget the surveilance video of Shaniya being carried into the elevator by her soon to be rapist and murderer. Some cases never leave your mind.

In the indictments for AD... kinda reading through the lines. Have always been hung up on (and horrified by) MA's cell phone pics. It seems to me that unless he really rigged his phone to take remote photos- someone else took them.

He was also at the house often even Shnaiay's brother knew who he was.
The SOB could have taken the photos himself.
BUT I would not be surprised if she took them if she can sell a child she can also e-mail pictures from a phone.

Indictments also were returned Wednesday against Mario Andrette McNeil, 31, who is charged with first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping and first-degree murder.


So they have BOTH been indicted now.

I hate him, he can say anything into a puke bucket.

Even worse, and this nearly brings tears even now, is the subtle crossing of her little legs in that picture -- the only way she could tell him, "No no no no no no no! Leave me alone!" She may have done that even subconsciously -- instinctually.

She'll never EVER have to do that again -- no fear, no pain, just all fun & good & love. All she will do with her pretty legs from now on is run & jump & swim & somersaults & ride a bike or a horse & maybe even ride on the shoulders of her Saviour. Yes.

Thank God. Thank God. They are both now charged. Prayers answered. May Shaniya's case shine a light on human trafficking so that no other beautiful innocents are subjected to the horrors she saw.
