I'm trying to think back, and without links, which I'll go find, I can't think of a single person that has kept a solid timeline. <snip>

MAM: Not talking, and hearing his timeline of events would probably make me ill.

<snip>

IMO, MAM must have talked.

When they were looking for Shaniya, the news came out that the (alive) search was over and they were looking for a (dead) body - before she was found. It is a fact they knew where to look for Shaniya's body.

How else could they have gotten this info, unless from MAM?

Sure a car GPS (if there was one) could get them close to the location, but not tell them Shaniya was no longer alive.

Even though I do believe that BL meant one night stand in the true sense of the word, even if his definition is a little off, but the better word for the circumstances he is giving, or that are being pulled from the media, would simply be mistake.
So why doesn't he call it a mistake? Fewer people would question mistake, as opposed to one night stand (as most people know that some mistakes can be long running).
Respectfully snipped and BBM

I have borne 3 children. Two of whom were what I like to call "surprises" rather than "mistakes"

Despite the rather unplanned nature of their arrival, I would never refer to them as mistakes. There was no mistake about them!

Perhaps he simply feels as I do. Children are a blessing no matter how humle or unplanned their beginnings.

Besides, can you image the outrage and uproar if BL dared refer to his daughter as a mistake, the fury directed at him would be great.

I realize that you are referring to the act resulting in Shaniya and not Shaniya herself, but just saying what his thought process may be in not wanting to term AD a "mistake"

There was a GPS, and it was seized. But, no it wouldn't have told them that she was dead or that she was near deer carcasses and trash (Unless Garmin has gotten a lot better. lol)
It might have been MAM or an as yet unmentioned party that he talked to.
Probably him, but there's no way to confirm it yet.

I don't know. He is oversaturating the media with his Christian appearance and forgiveness talks, but at the same time using distinctly non-Christian descriptions to explain his actions...I'm lost.

I think the point is that he is covering up right form the start.
That was not the only place that he seems to be covering something.
Where he chooses to place his dip stick I could not care less....
I care that we get a real picture of what is going on...
But I believe we never will.
He is using religion too as a huge cover up. I buy non of it. JMO
I just hope Shaniya will have justice.

I was referring to his relationship with AD. And I see your point, and I agree to a certain extent. The one night stand statement is now striking me odd, as it doesn't mesh with the rest of the persona he puts off.
But, it could be that I don't mince words. My oldest is a wonderful blessing, borne of the biggest and longest running mistake of my life.

(Believe me, I would love to say she came from a one night stand, it would be better then admitting to the almost 3 years of carp I willingly put up with.)

I went through the whole article and saw nothing about the one night stand comment mentioned at all...can you point me to it?
I'm slow.

Even the articles vary...I think there is just so much BS flying around that even the media has given us variations in a few areas.
BUT I heard him say "one night stand"
I think it was his first interview. And I read it too.
The remark originates with him and no one else.

I know that it came from him. I was referring to it, since that article was the reference given for when he made the statement, and in that article I see no reference to the statement.

And actually, I found it, second paragraph. (Sorry, there's a migraine coming on.)
It still doesn't say when he made the statement though, just that he made it.

This article from the 15th, is the first reference that I can find to the one night stand comment.

AD was arrested on the 14th, so it was made after AD was arrested, not before.
He most definitely would have wanted to distance himself at that point.

ETA: And he might (I did say might) have been shocked to hear the charges and was lashing out with the only insult he thought he could get away with and still be seen as a good reformed Christian.

Sure makes me wonder "what changed" from October 1st to October 2nd?

Let's see, what changed his mind? AD's babysitting was free, and he'd have to pay TA for "daycare"? I'm only speculating here--so I suppose I should delete this post--but I really do wonder if he was looking for free care for Shaniya.

I thing they all talk weird...
She had a P/T job in the past 6 months...Shaniya was only there on occasion....So while Shaniya was there during the 6 months that she was at work P/T is when he may have been watching her... that can add up to 3 hours every month  just saying...
nobody in this cast of characters have a clue of what is real...Either they were stoned and cant remember, or they were Out of Town and do not know, or they are protecting someone including themselves....

How 20 investigators can make any sense of this BS bunch is beyond me...
that is why it may take so long to get more charges going....:(

Think about it; 20 investigators. Unfortunately, they need 20 to cut through the BS. I would love to listen to the interview with Ann Summers/Phyllis Summers/Ann Davis/Phyllis Davis - and any other names she goes by. Just getting them to cough up their real name takes about an hour.

Time to go check in with my life...:)

I live 2 blocks from where the balloons for the Thanksgiving day parade get blown up today..
Going to get my grand children who are beautiful interracial babies...
Take them to see all the balloons..have a sleep over at my house and then take them to the parade
in the morning before the big dinner. You will all see it on the TV. :)
I will wave to you all :beats:

After this story I have so many new things to be very grateful for including Marc Klass.

We're on I-95 and will pass through Fayetteville in a couple of hours. No time to stop, etc, but I'll say a special prayer for Shaniya...

I just read about a case in Kansas City in August this year, that is similar. Mom prostituded 5 year old daughter to 50 year old neighbor. In return he gave her $5-$6 every time she would supply her daughter to him. Mom would buy cigs and whiskey with the money. Mom would actually be in the room while pedo was in the room. What a disgusting peice of trash they both are.

They both got life sentences.

Here is a link for the case.

Completely off topic. The word that is missing in your example is "murder".

I stated many, many threads ago, IMO, they will NOT give a young, pregnant, mother / woman the death penalty. If you can find an example where a young, pregnant mother was given the death penalty, I would be interested in seeing it.

[Oh and witches in Salem do not count.]

LOL :laugh: Hmmm maybe they need 20 more investigators.
Maybe that is why the new charges wont come for another week or so...:waitasec:

Wait, I thought Carey was only dropping her off for two days...thus implying that although BL had arranged for AD to keep Shaniya for a while, Carey didn't know this when she dropped her off.

I am really confused about all this and this seems like an important distinction to me. Anyone? Help?

According to her anyway, Aunt Carey didn't get the memo.

My opinion: Brad made that comment to DISTANCE himself from AD.

The ENTIRE world was looking at the woman accused and charged and arrested for selling their precious daughter into prostitution.

BRAD------> Excused his involvement with someone capable of such a horrific crime by claimimg *just a one night stand.*

If it is not true, I expect her family to eventually come out with something in regards to that statement.

BINGO! That is exactly why IMO. Otherwise he would have to explain his association--which can since be explained by the child they share in common. But the true nature of their encounter is not something either likely wishes to reveal. JMO
