I'm guessing the "facility" may have been a treatment center for drug and/or alcohol. She's had no records in NC in 12 years but she has court history involving cocaine trafficking, marijuana possession, and one charge of DWI. Life circumstances may have been where she recently needed help and was getting it. I'm concerned she left during treatment, it's difficult I know, and I hope she reaches out to someone soon. She has no active court activity or any vehicular charges that might be of concern.

If she voluntarily left a treatment center she may simply not wish to be in contact with family. It's not uncommon as the person works through issues and resentments during the course of treatment. Hopefully she'll reach out to whomever reported her missing.

Wow there is no MSM or anything for this lady. Her FB page has posts made on Jun 6 and July 18 (an update to her profile picture). From the OP it looks like the daughter’s facebook page is linked and has one post about her being missing. That post was in April. No updates on daughter’s page that I could find. Does NAMUS contact families to see if there are updates? I have no idea.

NAMUS is, I believe, updated with information from Law Enforcement, medical examiners, and the public (including family). I do not think they have the resources to contact familires for individual status updates on the case. In North Carolina alone, NAMUS currently has 653 OPEN missing persons cases, 158 UNIDENTIFIED persons cases, and 51 UNCLAIMED persons cases. Home
