Nooooo! State comes back for second half of closing. That's the way it's done.

Oh ok good. Sorry I'm at work and trying to listen too.

Thanks!

jonathan got frustrated at her for picking her scabs and shook her three times and her head hit the door

Landons, when you gave us your twitter handle the day you went to trial I noticed that (I just did not mention it here!).

ETA- I should say went to observe the trial....

he didn't know how bad she was for a while and then he took her to the hospital to save her

  • #107
The only injury that caused her death is the one to the head. Alrighty then. All the other injuries, and bites were to do what? :maddening:

  • #108
saying the head injury was within 12 hours and saying the other injuries were on another date and time

  • #109
I don't believe he shook her at all. :( Just don't buy it. It's hard to shake a 4 year old hard enough to cause those injuries. And I'm reading more and more 'shaken *baby* syndrome is being called into question in regards to actual *babies*, let alone a 4 year old. JMO

Using ear phones. Wish that cougher would stop coughing in my ears!

  • #111
saying other injuries were much older.. well 3-4 days old

  • #112
This defense lawyer is a joke!

  • #113
saying when he went to the store to get bandaids that was the break in the injuries

  • #114
injuries were not consistent with being hit in the head with a hammer or a base ball bat

  • #115
saying it was like shaken baby syndrome

  • #116
Waiting to hear how he's going to explain the bites and sexual abuse injuries.

  • #117
:moo: this is really not helping the defendant to harp on this considering all the other injuries she sustained

  • #118
the delay contributed to her death but it was just negligence not maliciousness

  • #119
there was never any sexual intent by jonathan in this case

  • #120
saying when he went to the store to get bandaids that was the break in the injuries

I like how he said "went to the store to get bandaids...and...um...uh...those other things."

Yeah, just ignore those "other things"...nothing to see there.

:banghead:
