J had mental illness.. the shed shows something was going on there. when J mom found out about the charges of J her reaction to police was that she could get him to confess

he has to have his say.. I am sure the jury is just as angry right now:twocents:

J had personality changes in hs and that is a sign there is something terribly wrong

lol... well I think that could be said of all teenagers

  • #165
Where is JR anyway? I don't see him in my live feed.

  • #166
Oh boo freaking hoo. I'm sorry. I'm really tired of people using their past as an excuse to become a psychopath, murderer, rapist, etc. There are plenty of people that have a pretty crappy upbringing and don't torture, rape and abuse a freaking child!!! :banghead:

Love how this guy is trying to garner sympathy for JR... He's mentioned Teghan's name twice now? Disgusting.

j was suffering from an alcohol problem. he drank a six pack every day. it is taking it all together to know that there was something wrong with J

That's all the state is doing????

The PT have the option of doing it all after the Def. is done, or to split the remarks in a 'before & after' format. We haven't heard the last of his statement, I feel sure.

ETA: When the DT puts on evidence, the PT always gets the last argument.

cannot explain anything going on in those ten days but there are stressors that explain what may have been going on

j had no experience with children and had never watched a child for extended period of time. just watched T for a few hours at a time.

  • #172
now saying that you learn how to take care of kids from your parents and ropes it back around to J's parents

  • #173
says he made no attempt to hide his abuse of T and even video taped her

  • #174
Isn'y J's father in the courtroom?

  • #175
says when J went to the hospital he didn't know how much trouble he was in and there was no reaction

Oh please--I know people who drink a whole lot more than that on daily basis, but none of them murder anyone!!

This I can agree with, doesn't excuse JR's actions, but also puts the blame on HR, imo.

I did the opposite, I muted WTVD, but watching that link. I'm struggling with the WTVD audio being so low... so all the notifications were coming in and scaring everyone in the office :floorlaugh:

Good idea. Those beeps were piecing my ear drums. You all teach me so much!

J was depressed, drank, and smoked MJ and these are stressors

  • #180
those alcohol bottles were not there before the ten days when HR left
