I want to know who will give the victim impact statements for Teghan. (part of DP phase)

Whomever does it: they better be good and deserving of her life and what she could have been.

I know you probably did all this but sometimes a "Step by Step" helps me-

1) Go to "UserCP"
2) Click "Edit your Details" (Left side list of options)
3) Go to "optional information"
4) Fill in Custom User Title
5) Leave reset box alone (don't check it)
6) scroll down and save changes

I thought it was reported yesterday that he was shaking his head "no" while the verdict was being read. To me this guy is a coward on so many levels. #1 The fact that he couldn't "pick on someone his own size". #2 The fact that he denied so many of his actions (i.e. the sexual assault) and lied about the head injuries. And #3 his reported body language seems to indicate he thinks the jury got it wrong. He knows on some level of his lizard brain that what he did was WRONG and is too cowardly to own up to it.

No offense to lizards intended.

RIP Sweet Teghan. The next phase of justice is coming.

Haven't followed this case very much as it's bad for my emotions...

Normally , I do not support torture ; but in this case , well . And how would this "thing" like to have his fingernail removed ? Not to mention all of the other atrocities done to him --- with as much mercy as he showed poor Teghan ?
But no. Just a swift drop at the end of a rope, or injection.
The reasons I normally do not support torture is because of the effect on the one having to carry it out ; not the criminal himself.

I believe in the DP ; there seems to be no other punishment that would be a deterrent. And have the sentence carried out within HOURS, not 20+ years later (after taxpayers have had to provide housing and medical care.). :banghead:

BBM. Lizard Brain. Perfect description of this . When I saw him shaking his head at the verdict my gut reaction was that he knows everything he did, he cannot deny it - but he discounts it to himself. In other words "It wasn't my fault. She made me do it. I had a bad upbringing, after all!" I think he actually thought he might acquitted. His shaking his head was because in his mind the jury got it wrong.

Do we know this guy's I.Q.?

this **guy** would do well to sit still as a statue during the verdict without any shaking of his head or emotional response because there is more to follow for him.

If he shook his head or acted aloof after all of that testimony he is in a world of hurt for the penalty phase, imhoo. He has shown no remorse for what he has done the entire time in has affect and he refused to testify in his own defense.

This is one of the quickest verdicts I have EVER witnessed. The time included the selection of a foreperson.

I have to wonder why this guy even wanted to go the mile with a trial. Something is way off with this guy imhoo. He does not strike me as 'intelligent and cunning' in terms of perps.. He strikes me as slightly not knowing what he is getting into (not saying he should not be responsible).. My point is that, I guess, if I were this guy's counsel I would encourage him to enter a guilty plea after discovery at the least. Why did he want this to go to trial? Did he really think that he had any defense???? This guy stood no chance out of the gate yet he goes for a DP trial? something is way off here and I cannot put my finger on it.
