GUILTY NC - Tim Hennis on trial in the '85 Eastburn murders, Fort Bragg

Oh this case is better than Steve Avery case by far.

The key thing about Julie is she was actually reading fatal vision the book about the Macdonald case when the Eastburns were murdered. In both cases a latex glove tip was found at the crime scenes

I think it's not beyond the realm of possibility that she concocted a plan to save MacDonald because she was in love with him and wanted to free him. She seems very bold and delusional in her footage. Also cold. Tim Hennis and his wife are made so real to me by that old footage. Their lives have been like something out of a Kafka novel......

Most don't know that Julie and Macdonald wrote each other over 100 times but defense back then never got the letters

Something should be done now, seeing as there is a strong probability that Hennis has once again been framed. There is no statute of limitations on mass slaughter of children and mother. This case has been all about Hennis, thus was never really investigated. Of course to the public, DNA is the magic bullet , and Hennis' position is indeed dreadful.

What a coincidence that Julie with her crazy thoughts and Macdonald with his desire to get out, just happened to have at their disposal some druggies and a Fort Bragg mom and two little daughters......I now think it leans less toward drug dealers with a vendetta, and more toward Julie.

They say Mrs Eastburn let the killer in. Maybe the door opened to Julie who left it open.....and Strombaugh was laughed at, how convenient for those who had already pinned it on Hennis. Hennis didn't really get a true acquittal, which is why he is where he is now.

Fascinating! What is your feeling about him now? I would have no trouble believing he was guilty IF the evidence fit, but it doesn't. They say the DNA does, but is Whisnant's book it said clearly that the semen sample was NOT preserved. Ergo, fabricated or contaminated, and this lab had these issues in the past. It was an horrific crime, but I feel it was more than one person, and likely related to Cone or the babysitter's drug connections. Hennis is being railroaded. Again.

I've given much thought to this case over the years and have read and watched everything available on it. The jury I served on did not think that the evidence proved that he committed the murders. You can imagine my shock when I heard about the DNA test done with the results matching Hennis. I was horrified that I was involved with setting a murderer free. I have a lot of suspicion concerning the DNA results and I have always felt that the babysitter knows exactly what happened and who was involved. I will never forget Captain Eastburn coming up to me following the verdict and telling me that I had just let the murderer of his family go free. I hope that the truth will eventually be exposed.

Amazing that you were a part of that! I can well imagine how Eastburn 's words haunted you, when you found out about the DNA hit. I know that when I first heard about the DNA, I found it chilling that Hennis truly was the killer. As time went on, though, and after I'd read Whisnant's book, and heard about the lab skewing results, I became very suspicious.

Julie Czerniak is the sole one mentioned in the book, and she said she had sat for 8 months. That's is a lot of people to leave your kids with!

I found the list of babysitters in the old case files back in 2008, defense contacted several of them

Ah, Ok, I see! Of course Julie was the one who wrote MacDonald, and who was a drug informant, which enlarges the interest in her. I did read that she passed a polygraph, but I don't know how conclusive they are.

Not so sure about the polygraph, she's never testified because she's looney

Absolutely missed opportunity and Katie told Gary this over the phone but did not give a name

I actually just found it in the Whisnant book, in the closing chapters. He says that Julie passed a polygraph and submitted pubic hair sample , and was cleared. This only means that she was not physically there during the crime. It says Patrick Cone was also polygraphed, but the SBI would not make the results known. Frustrating.

There was no DNA testing back in 85 or second trial 89, and I wouldn't trust any polygraph from back then. But the neighbor who's in the video on my website is my number one suspect

As soon as she was sworn in there was a discussion between the State and Defense and judge. Jury was sent out of the courtroom to the jury room for a very long time while argument went on about her. When the jury was finally brought back in, we never saw her again. Later during deliberation the jury voiced their frustration at not getting to hear the questions and her answers. Jury felt she knew what happened.

Too spacey, she's been messed up for 30 years. She was at the 3rd trial but wasn't called

Which one, and why?

Look at the video footage on my website, window latches in the house were unlocked

Yes. But do you mean the next door neighbor who was in the army and whose wife phoned the sheriff?
