I'm not sure if anything happened to this girl at the party or not. I think its pretty good for the defense though that they've got a taxi driver, ATM receipts, a restaurant receipt and a dorm security card that says these boys were at other locations during the time they were supposed to be there raping this woman. Perhaps something happened to her and she's got the wrong guys? If that's the case, she can't identify who they are, and no one can be tried. IF she told the cops ahead of time "look, I scrated them on a certain part of their bodies and these guys happen to have scratches on exactly that part of their bods, then it will further her allegations. If she didn't say anything about the scratches until she saw their photos and saw scratches on them, then it won't.

i might get flamed for this,

but you would think they would hire more "high class" strippers than the ones they did...:silenced:

and for a mostly white male lacrosse team...why would they intentionally hire black strippers? Not saying white men can't like black women, but you get my jist.

Unless they had a plan to do something bad to these women...
I read that they requested two white dancers, but the two AA dancers showed up.

Supposedly, they did not know the strippers would be black. The said to be payment was $800.

Wudge, did you hear if they paid in advance or if they paid them once they got there?

No, I just recall hearing the $800 figure. I remember the figure because it sounded, to me at least, like a lot of money for such a short time. And I do not recall hearing if that was for the woman who is alleging to have been raped or for both women.

They said on the radio this morning that it was $400 each, which still seemed like a lot of money for such a short period of time.

new info about the fingernails.....4 false fingernails were found in the bathroom...at 12:04 there's a picture of the girl w/o those fingernails....
per foxnews...this info coming from the defense...

from everything i've heard, i have to say this is a scam to get money...(for right now anyway)....one thing that i heard that was suspicious though, was that the house was completely cleared of people at 1 am when LE got there....it sounds like everyone left the house rather fast.....it doesn't sound like there were all that many people there either....what?, less than 20 from what i can gather......

unless some DNA can come to light, i don't see how a gang rape could have happened for 30 minutes in that bathroom, that fast with not a bit of DNA....

course i realize some other testing hasn't come back yet.....
The house being cleared rapidly doesn't seem odd if they're athletes and have a curfew, even some dorms that my children have lived in have had dorm curfews. Perhaps they all had to be back at their dorms by 1. Although if that's the case I wondered why they paid for 2 hours of entertainment that was supposed to begin at midnight.

That's a standard rate for a "party" (more than one client being involved), at least in the escort business.

i also heard that the other girl she was with has now backtracked slightly on what the victim initially said....apparently she corroborated the victim's statements at first, but something has changed now.....this was on Rita Cosby's show late last night....

Some escort services have flat charges. If you want two performers, you have to book for at least 2 hours, whether you use the whole 2 hours or not.

I'll be happy to answer. I used to run phones & a webservice for several escort agencies, including one that handled 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 stars/exotic dancers, both male & female. I know how this business is run, which is why this case has seemed hinky to me from the get-go.

well, i wouldn't say it was odd either, except neighbors noticed they all left "fast"....for ALL of them to be gone by 1:00 am, seems something happened or something was said for them to high-tail it out that early....

it almost sounds like the victim might have mentioned the word "rape" & the guys split real fast after that....

That's called "bait and switch" in the business. You have pix of certain girls on the website, but send whatever girls happen to be available at the time to the call.

that makes sense....escort services wouldn't ever make any money otherwise...

Would it make them angry enough to hurt these girls? If so, sure would nip Jesse Jackson's theory about "white men and black women" in the butt, wouldn't it?

I'd feel better about the ID of the accused in this case if I had learned that she picked them out of a photo lineup that included others that were not members of the lacrosse team.

same here.....

It's quite interesting to me that these two defendants are roommates and lived in the dorm right next door to the lacrosse teammate who wrote the offensive email. And, all three are from the NY/NJ area. I guess I'm wondering whether these two defendants are the two guys referenced by nickname in McFayden's email.

I guess the thing I find most interesting is that if the AV was truly making this all up and was randomly selecting photos out of the lineup, what are the chances that she'd pick these two, who happen to live in the same room, come from the same part of the country, and are in the same year at school? It would be an even more unlikely coincidence if these two boys are indeed the ones referenced in McFayden's email...

it was also mentioned last night, on Rita Cosby, that these 2 guys are the most affluent of all the others....more $$$ to be had, you might say, is what was intimated....the reporter went as far as to say that anyone could have googled this team & found info like this...addressess, phone numbers & what not, after the fact, before she picked them out of photos........not saying i believe that completely, but it raised my eyebrows....

How would she know that? Besides, I would think that "mom and dad" would be more inclined to shell out money to keep this quiet, not once their little boy was already tried in public and the family named dragged through the mud.
