When did the virus start going around?

The dogs hit on both vehicles. So I'm guessing that's why LE took them. I don't think that's in dispute, but IDK is it?

That's the way I read it, the dogs hit on the scent of human remains in both cars. They must have been cadaver dogs. And it must have been pretty strong in the SUV considering they hit on it and it was doused in gasoline. The other car could just be from transfer. If someone was handling a body and wore the same clothes in the other car, the dogs would hit on both. It was never indicated that this was in the trunk area of Camry. The SUV wouldn't have a trunk area, other than possibly under the back compartment where a wheel might be stored.

I'm about two hours away and can say for certain there is a respiratory virus in this area. I lost 4 days work and had to visit a doctor whom gave me antibiotics and prednisone. I was told if that didn't work I'd need those drugs IV. I know several people who have been affected and had to see doctors.

and yes I wash my hands regularly. :)

Hi, Pel!! I had the same thing.. also had antibiotics and prednisone. Still not completely over it and it's been 2 months. They won't give me a flu shot till I'm well. ~sigh~
Here's to our health... hope we are both better soon!

So are we at a point where we are going to start questioning EVERYTHING that we have read? I mean the woodchipper thing, that was straightened out. But now I see everything being questioned and I'm sure that msn has got something right, lol. It's almost like history getting re-written with out anything to back up the new story.

About the dog "hits" on the car(s) ...

Has LE stated anything if they believe those hits were accurate or not ? Since it was the same time they were doing the wood chipper search (and they ruled out those hits as false leads) , I wonder if the hits on the car(s) were reliable. Were they the same dogs?

I also wanted to point out that even if they WERE implicated by the dogs and they WERE accurate ... the suspicion that a body was placed in both cars (ie; moved from one to the other) is pretty speculative. It's entirely possible that the dogs were picking up on clothing that had been exposed to the body (ie; the person wearing the clothing sat in both cars) or that items were in one car and not the other (ie; body in one, bedding / etc. in another) OR that just items were placed in or ON the cars (ie; bedding placed on the trunk of one car while fumbling to get the trunk open on the other). There are many possible situations in which the dogs could get an accurate hit on both cars.

Yup :). Including moving the bodies from car to car..as well as the others you listed.

One or both of the trunks had been doused in Gasoline, IIRC. And the interior of one of the cars was doused in gasoline, IIRC. It could have been an attempt at destroying evidence, or perhaps used as an accelerant because one or both vehicles were going to be torched, or one or both of them (AB/EB) are incredibly clumsy with gas cans.

Too little news, too much time on our hands.

teh, as I recall, those were the same dogs that hit on the woodchipper. I don't put a whole lot of credence into anything they supposedly "hit" on.

http://www.examiner.com/amber-alert...ase-k9-dogs-hit-on-human-remains-video-photos

"Adam Baker has stated to the media that he is learning things about his wife that he hadn’t realized. " I missed this quote and find it interesting.

" Elisa Baker called police a second time to say that Zahra disappeared from her bedroom."

"Authorities reveal in the search warrant that blood has been found in at least one of the vehicles on the property and K9 dogs hit on human composition on both vehicles at the home. "

Is this the original report that we are basing the hits on the cars off of (I know it's been regurgitated by all the reports ) but this is the oldest one I can find .

I'm not sure i'm putting a lot of weight on this reporting since they miss several key aspects. Note: this is also the first report about the "red goo" on the glove.

It is amazing to me after watching the landfill video, that they could hone in on anything....looks like it is lifting and spreading stuff so how can they read dates? I am so confused. Looks to me if they found "dates" how in the world could they link anything together.....admitting I know nothing about landfills other than I admire these guys that have to do this dirty work. Please find this child.

And where is this "AB was away" coming from? Is it a rumor? It has not been in any msn article, in fact if that were the case, I would think that would be a big part of his alibi and we would have heard it by now.

Hi, teh... in one of the very first interviews I saw, he said he had been out of town for work from Thurs. till Sat. I believe. Don't have a link but I do remember hearing that. I also think JVM might have been the one where I heard it... not sure.

I never said the body was in both cars, only that EB would have had to driven them both disposing of things.

I wasn't referring to anything you said specifically. I've seen others state several theories about the cars both being positive by the dogs. :D Though I'm not sure she would have had to drive them both ... there are too many possible ways both cars could get a positive hit :banghead:

What it indicates to me is that Zahra didn't just walk/runaway. She's nowhere to be seen alive or reported in the local area. I beleive she was transported somewhere in one of those vehicles. I also beleive there's another car not found yet, a monte carlo maybe. JMO

Not disputing that the dogs hit on both vehicles. I just didn't know if I had missed a report that the hits were valid. We don't know what the dogs were trained to hit on, AFAIK, and please correct me if I'm wrong. If they were just trained to track, it wouldn't be odd at all for them to hit on both (hell all three!) vehicles. If they were cadaver-trained, then (oh god, I hate to type this and I apologize if I offend anyone) let's just suppose that EB was solely responsible and handled poor Zahra after her death. Decomp starts the second one dies, and the scent can be transferred from one object to another. EB unknowingly tracks the scent through both vehicles, and the dogs pick up on it.

Yes, I suppose I am playing devil's advocate at the moment. I just don't personally have enough evidence to make up my mind on AB's guilt or innocence in the death and cover up to convict him in my mind. I do believe he's guilty of child neglect, without a doubt.

fwiw that is an examiner article (which takes info from msm and throws it all together)

eta: they could have gotten the wording wrong from the original articles

Not directed at you my dear teh, just jumping off :)

I didn't have time yesterday and unfortunately I don't have time today because I have an appt this morning. But, I had suggested yesterday (and I haven't checked to see if anyone took the challange) IMHO we have to go back and look at AB's statements to the media.

What comes out of his mouth trumps any MSM coverage or lack thereof. We've had to do this in case after case and it will usually show consistency or inconsistency that can be argued instead of arguing different writing skills of different MSM reporters LOL.

Has anyone had time to transcribe his interviews yet? The 911 call has been transcribed all over the place. TIA if anyone has so we can compare. We usually see a bit of variance in retelling of stories but not a changing of the story. KWIM?

All just my thoughts at this point in time :)

Hiyas Tx, good to see you out there and hope you and yours are well also. Mines about 3 weeks ago and I was feeling much better. Hadn't had antibiotics since I can remember. Still struggling a bit with some symptoms but it should get better soon. Maybe it's the crud LOL.

Correctomundo :D

The examiner and associated content are blog type websites that aggregate and regurgitate info from MSM articles.

Not considered MSM IMHO. I don't think the mods consider them MSM, although we are allowed to link them here. :)
