Thank you for your many contributions, Darnudes! Do we know for certain she actually was ever in Australia, or is that just her claim?

She was definitely in Australia for some months in the period of 2008, I've managed to narrow it down from about June to November. She wrote on her myspace how much she missed everyone and her daughter wrote back saying it was her decision to go.

Just a reminder she wrote that blog about her having cancer 3 times about 2 weeks before Zahra had her day with the soldiers of Townsville Qld, which had been organised by Camp Quality, an organisation that helps organise special events for sick children. Maybe Elesa wasn't getting enough attention.

The Australia media has been all over this story this morning and we are getting hourly updates on the TV.

I cant tell you all how this case is breaking my heart and messing up my stomach. Its been almost a year since somers murder and this case is bringing back all those nightmares. I dont know which is worse, what somer suffered at the hands of an unknown monster or what Kahra suffered from those who were suppose to protect her.

Would someone pls be kind enough to link SM's myspace? I will try later to make it up to you by posting all the media links and fb, ms in the timeline forum... TIA!!!!

Ground penetrating radar should be able to penetrate to the capabilities of "farm equipment" - unless it was a backhoe. We have 2 pretty powerful/new tractor & bulldozer and I've never operated them. I just asked bf (without telling him why) if I (woman) would be able to operate both the tractor and bulldozer without instruction - he said easily...so I guess it doesn't point to the father, exactly, but.....=( I also asked if the tractor could dig a hole (verses a backhoe) and he said absolutely.

So,

A couple of more things: both the tractor and the bulldozer can dig a hole of about 15-20 feet before turning over, from what my bf is telling me. This is based on a 4WD John Deere 5000 series. BF said bulldozer may be irrelevant unless he had access to someone's commercial equipment and a semi, because the dozer can't drive down the street. The tractor can be pulled easily behind a truck.

The father tried to run a family member off the road NOT ZAHRA.

Yes adding on to this for anyone else that is confused:

Adam ran a family member of the road (Bentley).
Adam's wife threatened this family member with a tazer gun (Bentley).

Originally Adam and the wife were both charged with threatening someone with a weapon. Adam's charge was dropped, the wife's was not.

Bentley is the one being vocal in the press about know this would happen. Some reports say she did call CPS. She says after the being run of the road incident she never saw Zahra again and did not know they had moved.

Adam's charges are somewhere earlier in this thread.

Oh come on guys it shoudnt matter now that everyone is aware that 2 lil girls are so scared they can't sleep. Stay away IMO

I seriously doubt that somebody taking photos is the main source of their fear. A little girl in their neighborhood has disappeared, police cars have been coming and going for days, and I'm sure they're hearing enough to gather that she's presumed to be dead and the stepmother is a suspect.
