I don't trust her. She is hedging IMO. "We really didn't kill her" is a bit different from "We didn't kill her", and if Adam did something gruesome and bloody with Zahra's dead body with a woodchipper (or whatever) why does she qualify it and say it was "kinda horrifying" and not just plain old horrifying? She leaves the pronoun out of "makes me scared" and refers to Zahra's death in a very non-committal, minimizing, emotionless way in "after the fact".

JMO but if a child just dies and wasn't "really" killed by the parents the parents are likely to notify 911 and their relatives and organize a funeral, not go on like these people.

When you said this. It made me think about her saying Zahra isn't missing they know where she is. Might not mean they know where her body is, just that they know she is dead. In her mind thinking she's not missing, she's dead. The woman is very callus. I really don't think she expected so much publicity from this. I think she expected them to do an Amber alert. Pass it off as an abduction and get all kinds of funding to help them out as parents of a missing child. Then she had Adam all to herself, no Zahra to get in the way. I see her as someone that does not live in reality. Everything is make believe. I think she is too caught up in online living.

WARNING....GRAPHICWow, I left yesterday afternoon when there was a lull in activity. Ran all my errands, got home, fixed dinner, washed a load of clothes and then began watching election results.....
Wake up this morning to have to swiftly read through (gosh had to be at least TWO) these threads and I am in shock still....

My interpretation of her letters is that the death of Zahra was accidental. (Though IMHO I think EB made it LOOK to AB as though it was accidental, when in reality I think she accelerated or caused it to happen on purpose).
Afterwards, I believe the Kitchen and Bathroom were used to facilitate their removal of her body from the house. At this point I am more unsure....
1) she may have been burned and then "chipped" (cringing here)
2) Frozen and then "chipped" (continuous cringe)
3) Discarded in "pieces" throughout the county or counties

I tend towards the 3rd scenario only because the dogs lit on both vehicles and I can picture these two evil monsters rolling through the countryside doing this.

I just got on here and read the letters

I have not read any posts about them but thought I would make my comments while they are fresh in my mind.....so sorry if I am repeating thoughts you have already discussed...

My first thought is (sorry about this guys) but this lady is smarter and more articulate than I thought

There are no or hardly any spelling mistakes, her punctuation is good and her sentences were put together well... these letters were very easy to read....... I thought she would be a deads..t who couldnt spell and her sentences repeating themselves with words missing etc...

She also comes across as not as hard as I thought she would be (sorry about this too guys but just saying how they come across)..

She is also very well aware of what is going on out there in regards to how she is being viewed by the public and portrayed in the media....

so yes I think she is smarter than what I expected....

BUT then the stupid ramblings about the dark side and vampires just make her seem so childish....

that to me is a bit of a worry her obsession with being seen as different and liking the "dark side"...that just aint normal for a 42 year old......

Another thing I have noticed is that the writing seems to change......especially the slant!! I am not saying that I think someone else wrote the letters or they are doctored but I am sure a handwriting analyst would have an insight into her personality because of this...

I also think that zahra was not murdered intentionally.......something happened but they were involved....be it making her hop without her leg and she fell and hit her head, or fed drugs or something........

I am back to thinking HE put her through the woodchipper and that is the horrifying thing....and that would be horrifying even to her (maybe not charles manson!)........but to do this she must have been burnt first.....

I've always viewed EB as fairly intelligent. But intelligence can be measured any number of ways, imo, and I think she has her strong suits and her weak points in that respect.

Oh I think you are so right. The VALIDITY of what she has to say will always be in question for me. IMO she is very self serving and I don't see that changing any time soon. I think that there is some truth in what she says but I'm sure it will not have went down just the way she says.

I am fascinated with how the handwriting slants differently when addressing different subjects. If not for the 'y' s, I would think two different people wrote them. MOO

I get the impression from this letter that she is basing the "what he did after the fact is kinda horrifiying" on what she has been told is circulating in the media. She is minimizing it, yes, but she is not just minimizing the act itself--she is minimizing her involvement. If she states it as something that she has heard from her lawyers, then she removes her own culpability.

I do not believe her. I think she knows exactly what happened to Zahra, and I think that she had both her hands involved in every aspect of little Zahra's demise.

This is a very sad thought. I was just thinking, she may have put Zahra somewhere she was afraid of, or didn't like.

No one really talks about Zahra or her favorite things, what she did or didn't like. Maybe the media needs to publish letters from Zahra's classmates and friends. So Zahra can have some positive and more personal things being said about her. Instead of her memory just being about the abused child with the bright smile.

If these letters are real: I am reading them as her confirming that Zahra is dead, but with her (EB) trying to play innocent bystander as if she had no part in what has happened to Zahra.(which I call BS... this woman is up to the tippy top of her devil horns in it...)

Good morning everyone.

Not sure if it's already been determined but it appears that the two page letter on the yellow paper is the first reply to an initial correspondence from "Damien" and the 3 page letter is the second reply. She starts to go into much more detail in the second letter as she becomes comfortable with her "friendship".

I'm guessing that perhaps her lawyers caught wind of this correspondence after the third letter came in from her new friend and that's why it was halted. I have no doubt that "Damien" would have continued to correspond with her for his own personal gain. It's what he does. I'll bet his third letter was asking some more detailed questions about some of her responses in the second letter.

Thanks, Nurse. That info fits nicely with the theory I've been easing into since last week. I've had to work parts of the theory separately, because I'm missing certain pieces of info in each section and therefore, can't put the whole picture together. If I revist the Tahoe (which I have, many times), I'm now almost convinced that AB/EB or both were sleeping in that vehicle, at least for some amount of time, due to what was being done in the house.

ETA: And if there is indeed a waterbed, then that too would fit perfectly with this theory.

If she was innocent -- if Zahra died accidentally and AB disposed of her, which is what she's implying -- you can be SURE she'd be screaming it from the rooftops. No, these letters are totally damning as far as I'm concerned. She's a liar and a narcissist. She abused Zahra to death and together they disposed of her. I wouldn't spend a second parsing her lying words for truth.
