I hope I’ll be able to catch up on the discussion re: motive but I thought I’d throw an idea in the ring (sorry if somebody already chimed in with something similar)...

Could one of the folk at RJR have been treated unsuccessfully by CI and was looking to sue for malpractice? Perhaps he had no malpractice insurance?
INTERSTING theory...…….

It's just crazy. I haven't found any articles with new information other than family members saying they had no knowledge of "issues" at work. Police have not released a motive, and one of the arresting officers was a customer of Chris's. He murders 4 people, proceeds to go to work later in the day. By all accounts his patients that day noticed nothing out of the ordinary, "he was just Chris". Former landlord says "never a problem" and neighbor says, not surprised??? Well holy Jeckel and Hyde Batman, something happened somewhere

It’s mind boggling. I wonder if he’ll plead guilty, I can’t imagine what his defense strategy would be if this goes to trial.

Side note, I saw a victim’s family member comment on Facebook that they deleted a friend’s comment because they don’t want that information to get out. Made my mind wonder even more...

I think it is very interesting that we haven't heard a word from anyone in his family. It appears that there is no one that really had anything to say about him in a positive or a negative way. Just seems strange. Chad has been in the area the majority of his life. I just would think that someone would have some insight.

Anyone know when the next court date is set? I don't think we'll hear much more until after the funeral.

Edit: looks like from last message court date isn't set, yet.

RSBM

I actually think the woman whose appointment was switched from noon to 4pm was his only patient that day. IIRC she said he arrived at his office right on time (as opposed to him already being at his office). I know that's not definitive; he could have just gone out on an errand between patients, but it's at least a possibility she was the only one. Doesn't take away from your point at all, maybe just provides an explanation if she was the only patient of that day to have come forward. Have we heard from any others?

On the evening ci got arrested he was leaving his house going to the chiropractors office for a 5:15 apointment with the mother of the washburn detective who basically solved the case by recognizing his vehicle. Just strange

Reportedly, CI moved his own mobile home to the Washburn, ND home park, currently managed by RJR, in 2015.

The prior park owner reported that CI was a good tenant - paying his MH lot rent timely beginning 2015-2018, when ownership changed hands. The current park owner stated CI was an existing tenant, and came with his purchase of the park about August 2018.

Internet search of the CI's Washburn, ND mobile home park indicates average mobile home lot rent at $225/month.

In comparison, RJR website lists a 2 br mobile home available in the Washburn park with two choices: a 5 year Contract Deed at $890/mo plus heat and lights; or for rent at 850/mo.

Assuming CI owns his mobile home, CI's residential overhead at about $225/mo for lot rent is way below average, IMO.

I also believe CI has a large family presence in ND, certainly available to provide financial assistance if necessary. MOO

Northview Estates RV & Mobile Home Park - Mobile Home Parks for Sale in Washburn, ND
Adding to my post to confirm the name of Mobile Home Park not previously publicized.

The officers conducted surveillance on Krohmer’s home in Northview Mobile Home & RV Park, waiting for him to leave.

“With the seriousness of these crimes that he’s a suspect of, our goal was to get him out of the house,” Krohmer said. “We didn’t want him to start a barricaded subject situation.”

Mike Bryant, a resident of the mobile home park, said he watched the scene unfold as heavily armed law enforcement surveilled Isaak’s home. Bryant said he asked officers about 9:30 a.m. Thursday what was going on and was assured that residents were all right.

Thanks! Here's the info from the link I was looking for:

"[LE Officer] Krohmer and his parents were patients of Isaak, who owned a chiropractor practice on Main Avenue in Washburn.

As law enforcement did surveillance on Isaak’s mobile home on Thursday, Krohmer knew Isaak planned to work that day because Krohmer’s mother had a chiropractor appointment at 5:15 p.m."

Really good work!

And of course the paper goofed and meant Isaak's home, not Krohmer's...

Police Chief Jason Ziegler declined to say whether all four victims were targeted.

Police declined to release details of the 911 call that alerted authorities to the slayings. The Associated Press and other media outlets asked for audio and a transcript of the call, but police denied the requests, citing a provision of the state's open records law that allows authorities to withhold such information during an active investigation.
