Some time back I called on one (in a different state) that was a decent price and we had interest in it as a rental. I was told by the young girl that I could not rent it, I could not move it and I had to be approved by the "trailer court" owners and had to live in it. I also read the reviews and they were not great of the owners. It could only be bought outright and the unit had to stay there for five years. We would have purchased it but not never ever under those kinds of terms.
I felt for her, she had bought it, moving to a new area on her own with a child so she could go to school and she was young. It was not working out, she had no backup nor family and she wanted out of the deal. The last I knew she kept lowering the price to no avail. I have no idea what kind of loss she or possibly her folks had to pay to get out of it or in fact if she ever did.
Very unlikely I realize, but I am as frustrated with trying to determine the motive as anyone else and I thought perhaps I am looking at it backwards and rather than him being evicted or not having the rent, he wants out and to move his residence and office or sell the residence and they did not approve a buyer or were making it difficult to get out of a lease?
If moving it, that is expensive enough without owing months or years of lot rent to get out of it.

Interesting. There is something in that 911 call that gives some specific information that LE doesn't want released yet. I wonder what it is.
I agree with you PrairieWind. And I have to ask, has it been confirmed anywhere that there were no (surviving) witnesses to the murders? Would they had to have released that in the probable cause affidavit if there were? Is there any way to get an actual transcript of the bit of the call that they did release between dispatch & EMT? If they did provide a transcript, would the tiny part that’s inaudible be printed as “inaudible?” Sorry for my ignorance, I don’t know how these things work.
From the very beginning my ears have refused to hear anything anyone else suggested was being said in that tiny blip that is inaudible, all I keep hearing is “one with trauma en route.” I can think of two different scenarios where there could have been a surviving witness. Could this be why they are withholding the call? Which in turn withholds the name of the person who placed the call? I’m probably way off base. But could that be part of what everyone does not want known yet?
Has anyone heard/read/seen anything about CI's family? I mean even the father and brother showed up at the hearing for the Closs kidnapping. They were mortified and embarrassed but they showed up. I have seen no mention of parents, siblings but maybe I've missed it

I think in Minnesota a trailer cannot be moved. It screws up the wiring. But this info was a few years ago. Other states may have the sane rules

So my thought process was clearly leaning that direction as I watched John Oliver's show... The lot where CI's trailer was located recently (within a year and a half?) sold to new owners; maybe they increased the rent significantly? And CI blamed RJR since they were the ones collecting?? But if that was the case, it seems we'd be hearing from other tenants?? (This is all wild speculation.)I just watched an episode of This Week Tonight with John Oliver that aired last Sunday and included a segment on trailer parks. The show described similar info to what you posted. The episode was especially chilling because of what happened in this case... (I won’t go into details.)

I think the married couple (or one person of the married couple) was the intended target. They were in the office. I think CI went directly to the office, killed them, and as he exited, he encountered the other two in the shop area. Perhaps they confronted him (I'm sure the owner would), but CI had weapons so they didn't have a chance. Speculation only.

I feel like it might be either the state of one of the victims or it’s someone reporting the name of the suspect and they want to avoid tainting a jury. Not sure and JMO

I keep coming back to April 1st. It just is such a time with rentals. Rent due, rent increase notices, utility bills that may have been put off and adding up, moving in, moving out, eviction notices (many do not evict during the winter and/or are required not to), this would be the first winter RJR managed right? RJR was targeted.
They are in Mandan, he is in his town with his business and home a fair distance away. The only likely connection seems to be that they managed this property. Logic says the answer/motive lies there in some respect. He also planned, at least since the day before and maybe longer...
