Actually JB blew it. He should have waited until tomorrow morning prior to the hearing and tell GA to claim privilege.

JB knew this would make the news this evening. He just didn't get the action from it he thought he would. Another step into the slime pool he made. :bang:

I'm thinking GA has lost his marbles again! That comment by MN had him running with rage to stop those proceedings. This is nothing about GA not wanting to hear "bad" statements about his daughter or grand daughter. GA has shown his puffed out peacok behavior before trying to show his valor in defending Cylees name. Alittle late in the game gA! It seems to me someone thought MN was going to spill some beans that they don't want released and possibly thought they had rights of attorney client privalage during the time MN was hired. I feel MN's comment was to shake the ground out from under a few people and it worked! Touche' Away, MN!

I would love to know exactly what advice or information it was that JB gave GA today. I mean what could he have advised or told GA that would get him so upset that he would storm the presser? Granted GA appears to have a short fuse, but he appeared angry. So what was told to him that made him angry?

OR was it really wrong info? Or was it a request for GA to try to create enough of an interference to stop the presser because the presser was going to hurt the case?

LOL, I have never seen a case that was conducted so openly with all the evidence being put on public display. Yet with so much gameplaying that apparently is being conducted under the table.

I think George was told that MN was going to spill ALL he knew about the case. That's the impression the media was giving.

Which was wrong info.

While the info given about the water was damaging, I think George was worried MN was gonna reveal stuff much worse. JB was panicked. George was relieved to find out it was only about water. Whew! It could have been SO much worse.

Oh please.. they know exactly what happened to Caylee.

"We lost her george"
"What have you done?"
"I was saying inside my heart, please don't let this be my Caylee"
They just happened to look under the playhouse at their own residency.. and pointed out suspicious spots in the ground to authorities.

But yea, they have no idea. Gimmie a break.

Amen!

So according to this report there are 32 specific searchers who may have their information turned over to the defense! I am soo mad - I have no words!! :furious:

Here's George, MN and BC after their meeting. MN must have the patience of Job! I don't know how MN keeps himself from reaching out and grabbing George by the shoulders and scream "WAKE UP"!!

Pipitone reported that a defense spokeswoman told him that attorney Jose Baez "told George Anthony that the defense believes it was improper for NeJame to be releasing this information today, that George Anthony should assert his privilege."

What the h*ll!?! GA has no privilege in this! That is part of the problem! GA and CA seem to think they can make people who are saying things they don't like, regardless of whether it is the truth or not, that they can make them keep quiet. And they can't.

I wonder when GA went home if he even gave any consideration as to the "bad advice" that he recieved from JB? I wonder if it will even cross his mind that if he listens to people giving advice like this, he will not be able to change things (just like he didn't change the conference) and he could also end up in trouble. All due to listening to "bad advice." Had Nejame been a different kind of attorney than he is this could have ended up with GA on charges of disturbing the peace or something instead of a delay on the presser and a calm conversation.

I believe that somehow Baez is setting up George and Cindy. He knows that George is emotional and would probably lose his cool, especially if Baez was telling him information that was not accurate. Baez is sneaky...he knew George would fly in there in an outrage, that makes George look even more like an uncontrollable maniac. Baez was probably giggling like a little school girl after he hung up the phone with George.

He's got the key in the ignition and one turn .... revving that bus.

Wonder if BC has the steel to confront JB on it?

I'm not sure if it was confirmed, but there was talk that Nejame filed one of those complaints with the Florida Bar against Baez. Could this be a little tit for tat type of thing, since it comes from ' a little school girl'?

My feelings exactly. GA and CA can be relied upon to be manipulated. The wording that announced the presser was vague, perhaps purposely to create more suspense for MN's appearance. That allowed JB to goad GA into appearing and making a scene. If the defense plans to create mitigating circumstances in the sentencing phase to remove the death penalty, throwing the Anthony family under the bus as loose cannons with anger management issues and little impulse control as KC's life role models might actually be in her favor.

JB knew he couldn't appear in person, so why not activate the parent puppets who can always be counted on to create an angry, entitled tantrum.

I noticed that nobody was running live stream video except WESH which had a horrible Skype type connection; it almost made it look like cameras had not been allowed. Kathy's WFTV and the other media outlets may have now decided this sort of presser is no longer worth running live, but can be edited and put on their website later after the evening news to insure higher ratings. Gosh, I hope they don't start doing this with the hearings! We're already restless enough with LODD (Lack of Doc Dumpage).

Just wondering where BC was in all of this? Something stinks here. How does interrupting a presser get George any closer to finding out what happened to Caylee? All it did was get his face on tv...claiming he still doesn't know who killed her, IMO.

This was a great video of George with MN and BC after GA broke up the press conference. As I listened to GA piteously excusing his outrageous behavior today by asking, "How are we supposed to cope with this?" and saying, "Nobody understands the hell we're going through every day," I found myself wondering how this same person can also see himself as a valuable asset capable of counselling other families via the CMA Foundation.

I also noticed that even in his distraught, apologetic state, he nevertheless managed to slyly avoid confirming for MN, in front of the cameras, that he (GA) had no problem with MN representing EquuSearch. GA only confirmed that he wanted to find out what happened to Caylee. Did anyone else catch that?

That video is worth watching more than once for sure! George says he, Cindy and Lee need to know the truth-what about innocent KC? Doesn't she need the truth too? BC speaks the truth they've only begun a very difficult road!! If GA can't get a grip now-Lord help him! Cause the trial is gonna be ugly-the truth about their daughter is ugly! The truth about what KC did to Caylee is beyond words!! IMO

Quote Respect essies :) Thank you for that link.

I sit here after seeing that video hearing George, hearing everyone just allow the elephant to be in the room. Everyone walking on egg shells. No one will say the emperor isn't wearing new clothes.

I know it's society. You have to be polite. Well, you should be polite. But.

Yes. I wanted someone to scream at George too.

And okay. (I am pretending I know nothing else than this): The Anthony's daughter is accused of killing her two and a half year old daughter(their granddaughter)and currently awaits, in jail for her DP trial to begin. Horrible.

(And what kind of games are JB and co playing? This is all too underhanded for me to follow motives. Or was this George's idea, Cindy's...who knows when you are not dealing with high moral humans.)

But. George keeps repeating: "I just want to know the truth." Why don't they visit Casey? Can they really be this much in denial? I do mean excuse me for my judgements, and Casey has not had her fair trial and I am not "for" the DP but her parents have to be considering the idea that Casey knows more than she is telling. Cindy says that the truth will come out in the trial.

With all my rambling what I am trying to do is give them all leeway, but bursting in on this press conference was going to "just tell George what happened to his granddaughter" how? What would TM or the lawyer know about "what happened to Caylee?"

Am I taking crazy pills? This case is nuts, weird, and I don't even mean the murder. My hinky meter is going off and I feel a knot in my solar plexus after seeing and hearing George. (lies!) Sorry that slipped out. Where I should be feeling sympathy(once again)for the Anthony's I feel rage. :furious:
And confusion.

Crazyness.

I'm getting pretty cynical in my old age 'cause for a minute there I thought maybe this was all staged for Casey's benefit...ya know- show her how good 'ole dad is out there fighting the good fight for her. Hoping, perhaps, he's earned more than a 1 sec glance his way tomorrow? I better get to bed...there's a hearing to watch pretty soon!

Hello WS :)

Casey Anthony's Father barges into news conference.

MN: Brad is a very, very able counsel, we were able to talk, uhm and clarify any miscommunication and we're good. My heart still goes out to George and his family and for the loss of his granddaughter and he's welcome in my office, uhm around me any time and any place, whether angry or happy or otherwise. We had a very good conversation, a lot of clarification.
GA: All I can do is tell ya is all I've wanted to know is what happened to my granddaughter and I still stick by that. I, I want to know what happened, Cindy needs to know what happened, my son needs to know what happened to her(inaudible). And uhm, you guys don't understand the living hell that we live through every single day wantin' to know how we're supposed to survive though this. You know there's no text book, there's, no one is telling us exactly how to live our lives, just doing the best we can. I apologized to Mark back here in the office here with Brad and uhm I meant what I said its, maybe a lack of communication on my part but I just, wanted to come and uh, apologize to him.
MN: We shook hands, we hugged, we, we, he's saying there's no issue and we may continue the proceedings(inaudible)understood. He wants the truth and he wants the truth to come out. Am I right about that? (Turns to George as he asks question)
GA: Yes I want the truth to come out
BC: This is going to be a long, long search for the truth. The Anthony's have only started to begin that, its going to be difficult for them and we're not even close to the end of that road, so as we go through it, its gonna get more and more difficult.
