She sounds pretty darned convinced in his innocence and she's the best in the industry. Anyone know if she has ever lost one of the cases she has taken on or what her overall record is? I would imagine that SA and BD's chances are far better than ever before since she took his case. And I love that she's going right after Kratz!

She is not representing BD, he has his own lawyers with the Innocence Project.

Do you per chance know what year Ryan became a licensed nurse? Was he a licensed RN in 2005?

Ah yes...I did know that, however, I still feel that if SA's case falls apart, then Brandens should follow...although that is not always the case. With Ryan Ferguson, who Zellner got freed, the guy who confessed the "dream" and said Ryan helped him is also still in prison. When I think it is pretty obvious that the guy who actually committed the murder got away with it.

I wonder if BD's confessions are found to be coerced and he was lying and he is exonerated.... will that help SA? Those confessions were never technically used against him in the trial; however, they were absolutely used in the media prior to the trial and if those news conferences are based on false confessions.... how is that right in any way, shape or form?

To believe this story of Steve Avery being the murderer, you would have to accept the following "truths."
1.) Steve Avery, a man who served 18 years in prison for a horrible crime that he did not commit managed to remain on good behavior all of those years?

I don't know if you call raping a teenager girl in 2004--good behavior, but I certainly don't....

Oh who was convicted of raping a teenage girl 2004? Are you talking about SA. I'm pretty sure allegations do not count as convictions. These very well could be false allegations since they didn't seem to prosecute him back in 2004 for any rape. They didn't even charge him that I am aware of.

If they didn't know how to investigate murders because it's such a small, quiet, rural community, then call in someone who does or, I dunno, REFER TO YOUR EDUCATION ON THE MATTER.

They called in Milwaukee investigators from the Dahlmer case when they found the bones...and the WI Dept of Justice....

I've gotta tell ya', I've followed this case since DAY 1 when she was reported missing. It will take a miracle to convince me that he's not guilty. HOWEVER, my feelings about that nephew have changed somewhat as less was known in the day about his "confession". Regardless, I will agree the case is a total HOT MESS and I am actually relieved that Kathleen Zellner took his case. If ANYONE CAN GET TO THE BOTTOM of crap, she will. She's got the tenacity, experience, time, support and is getting PAID to do so! Willing to sit back and relax and let her do her magic.

...but will she admit that he is guilty, that is the question! If she gets him off, it is a big payday for her.

I never said he was convicted, having committed a crime and being convicted are 2 different things. Lots of people commit crimes they are never convicted of doing. The girls mother reported to the police that he was spending way too much time with the girl...the girls mother became concerned...way before TH ever disappeared....

He had to drop those charges because he couldn't prove it, based on the evidence, how is it that he can still insist that it happened? I still say that if he did kill her... it didn't happen any way close to how Kratz said.

He has to insist it still happened cause even though Avery was not convicted of those charges, Dassey was, based on the story fed to him and he repeated, BADLY I might add. That was the only thing that directly pointed BD to the crime.

I've got this theory floating around in my head, so I'm going to put it out there...

TH arrives at Avery property, SA meets and greets her, she starts gathering her things to take the picture..SA walks up to her and slaps the handcuffs on 1 arm, pretending he is joking around. He claims he is sorry and that he'll take them off, but the key is in the trailer. She follows him to trailer willingly. Now that he's got her in the house, he handcuffs the other cuff somewhere in his trailer. He goes to her vehicle and drives it around to the back of the property. Things go downhill from there....

As far as BD is concerned, and having a boy with Autism, I can honestly say that if I ask my boy, he will give me the answer he thinks I want to hear. He is not anywhere near BD's age, but I do have a friend with a 19 year old Autistic boy, and he will simply say no that's not how it is....

I think it could have been a situation in where SA was fantasizing and talking about doing this and BD was in close proximity or the receiver of the info....and BD was just repeating it...my boy tends to repeat things he's heard, just out of the blue...but I have to honestly say I really haven't looked into the BD case, as I think he does deserve a new trial.

Why would SA's uncle have waited 18 years to get his nephew out ? Gregory Allen had a criminal record a mile long.

How are you going to prove those charges when the body has been burned to the point of bone fragments being all that's left. I often don't agree with the prosecution version of how a murder was committed, even though I agree with who committed the murder.

How are you going to prove those charges when the body has been burned to the point of bone fragments being all that's left. I often don't agree with the prosecution version of how a murder was committed, even though I agree with who committed the murder.

I believe the lack of evidence in the trailer and garage support that this is not how it happened JMO That's when and why they went after BD IMO
