New Anthony Spokesperson: Caylee is alive! Presser planned

Isn't LE the ones that are supposed to do presssers? If the family of an accused criminal holds a presser that is obviously just to promote BS, wouldn't that be considered interfering in a police investigation? These Anthony's really do live in their own little world that operates independently of the rest of the world. Apparently kc was doing what she was taught to do, make her own rules.

Your right she could. But she is the mouth-piece for KC, and does use the media to get her daughters story out there. I should of just used CA's lies as my basis.

If you check at http://www/sunbiz.org you'll see that the last name is spelled differently, with an extra 's' at the end. And that seems to be the correct spelling according to public records.

The KF website has mis-spelled the name, leaving off the second 's'.

Cindy's defense of Casey goes way beyond a parent denying their kids have done wrong..... didn't Cindy call Casey's friend & warn him to stay away because she's a sociopath? She already admitted Casey had serious problems.


I think we saw the about-face from Cindy AFTER that phone exchange with Casey. Casey tells her SHE'S the reason she's in jail.

It MUST be a horrible burden for any relative to live knowing that YOU turned in a loved one.... guilt feelings are powerful things.


Despite the Anthony's enabling & their ignoring Caylee... I do have sympathy for how their entire world has been permanently destroyed.

I do agree that CA does go from being over-protective of KC and wanting to keep A family business internal and private to these wild punishing statements she makes to KC's friends. Extremes.

In some ways, I can empathize with KC as she was growing up because those CA outbursts seem to be efforts to control and manipulate KC -- but with confusing mixed messages, so if CA does not like someone, doesn't like them anymore or, wants to punish KC she goes to the other extreme of being too out-spoken about KC.

I can see that making it hard, maybe KC used to want to please her Mother and do the right thing but as she went through the teenage years CA's mood swings and how she lambasts KC made her want to retaliate for the ultimate embarassment!!!!

A long drawn out war was started and KC is known to retaliate spitefully and stealthily later, to enjoy the payback and, to escalate.

It can be seen in months before Caylee's demise that KC was off-the-rails and no longer was hanging with friends who would keep her more grounded. She went off the deep end and was blazing a trail towards self-destruction waiting for CA, for someone, to stop her. No-one ever did. Caylee paid the price.

IMHO.

Isn't it natural to want to defend your offspring? Maybe they see Casey as wounded or damaged and feel protective?

If there was hope of bringing Caylee back, I think Cindy's and George's attitude would be different.

I think there's a lot to that. I know in my family that Grandma and Grandpa always coddled my alcoholic/drug addicted aunts uncles - my mother was the only one without a substance addiction - the only one that did something with her life and she was shunned by them all of her life. The treatment carried on to all of us cousins.

My sister-in-law surmised that this was because my grandparents saw my mother and us kids as 'not needing them' like the others did...so I can totally see where GA and CA feel the need to protect KC. I can imagine there may also be a great deal of guilt having raised a [alleged] murderer. I think they are protecting themselves as much as they're protecting KC.

If it is cancelled...it means they were never going through with it in the first place, IMO. Remember...it was only a dangling carrot to begin with! It was designed in part to draw people into their "meet and greet" to drum up the cash flow again.

I think people are upset because being Casey's mouthpiece seems to be further enabling and encouraging Casey's lies.

The victim didn't get to turn 3 and has yet to be buried. I believe it is way past time for truth and resolution.

Dunno but didn't they also cancel NG and Larry CNN this last weekend? Only development I can think of is the Defense inspecting KC's car and it still smells!!!

My hope is that the Defense forensic's concern is that the car still smells of death and could prove a dead body even today -- so there has been a seachange.

As the Defense reviews the forensic discovery and reviews it for themselves maybe they start to understand what LE has, what they can/cannot do to discount it and -- whether they need to explain who's body in the car?

We shall see.

And now he complains about not being given all the discovering - that's definitely Criminal Law 101 - every defense lawyer in the world claims that. That's where documentation comes in for the proseuction.

Mark Geragos claimed that at every opportunity - yet some of the discovery he claimed he didn't have, was signed for (and investigated by his PI) six months before he claimed he didn't get it. It was also responsible for most of the Red Herring Thursdays.

Befcause it's the first thing EVERY defense atty does, I tend not to believe it. It's like they have a check sheet and #1 is "Claim you don't have the discovery.

All I have to say is that you know how many people and KIDS go through OIA on a daily basis. Thousands!! I can't wait to see what they have to say because it is not going to be legit.

I was in Magic Kingdom the other day and you know how many little girls I saw that were a spitting image of lil Caylee. I was not going to call LE on each and every one and say "oh look i found her 20 times".

These new leads are bogus and anything to get media attention. Anything. I agree with all the other posters that when things happen in the case a new lead always pop up. Hmmmm...
