New Arrest Warrant For Lindsay Lohan

A bit off topic but IMO it shows the dysfuntion in a family.

Apparently L Lohan was given a special card from an Ice Cream place, good for getting a certain amount of free icecream every week. Well her mother has been way over-using the card, which she's not supposed to be using. Things finally came to a head when employees had enough.

Can you say G R E E D Y?

Police ended up being called... way to much drama for me!

Is there no interest in what has hit the fan for this young scofflaw? That judge looks way ticked off.

Does anyone know how much time she would probably serve? I know that in CA things are so crowded that they pretty much let them right out.

That is what I am wondering. I used to hear about Lindsey Lohan or Paris Hilton being sentenced to "30 days" or whatever, but they would report for 60 minutes and then leave because of the overcrowding. Which really BLEEPS me off because as a regular person I'd probably spend more time in jail than they have for a violation that's of a much lesser degree.

UPDATE: Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore just explained ... generally, a female inmate in Lindsay's situation only serves 25% of their sentence ... which means LiLo will most likely spend 25 days behind bars.

Argh!!! This ticks me off to no end!! Why sentence someone to 90 days if they won't serve 90 days????? TRUTH IN SENTENCING, people!!! Come ON!!!

However, I am very happy that she is going to jail. I think she needs a huge wake-up call. She is in serious denial and this could save her life. Though, IMO, I think it will take her more screw-ups before she truly learns, accepts that she's an addict, and WANTS help.

the crooked overcrowded cali jail needs to let a few others out who have beenin there for a spell.. and let the Tw*t do her whole NINETY DAYS :furious:

. when she kills someone with the booze and drugs..

there will be another 20million dollar lawsuit that that pitiful state has to pay.....

It is crowded out here. You know, the parents of this girl destroyed her with a complete lack of parenting and by enabling her sense of entitlement. Now the state of CA is forced to be her parents with the bills to boot. I hope she spends more than 5 minutes in jail. We'll see. She'll probably end up with special treatment in a hospital wing. But I think that having her serve a real sentence like everyone else is the only way to get her to wake up and possibly prevent her from killing some innocent person when she's driving drunk all over the place.

Only 25 days! No sympathy whatsoever.

I think that Lindsay's actions have really irritated the judge and have caused her to sentence Lindsay to the maximum. Lindsay shows up to court as if she's going to a nightclub, then the moment she gets out of court, is filmed partying. She's been photographed mocking the ankle monitor by posing in a bikini with a drink in her hand and the monitor on, etc. She treats it like a joke, like she can do whatever she wants and then turns on the waterworks for the judge when pleading for mercy. She's an actress! You can't believe a thing she says. Gosh, if it had been me, I'd lay low, work hard and behave myself. She also blew yet another job recently getting fired for not showing up on time. The girl is a mess and seems like a lying addict to me. I hope I never hear another story about this person again. Get it together already!

I don't think so. The jail doesn't care who she is either way except pretty girls seem to get out a lot quicker than other people. But, they've got a nightmare to deal with out here with the overcrowding. Not much we can do about that. However, the courts and the jail know we are all watching and that may make a difference.

I saw a video of her in court on JVM tonite. She was crying and being all repentent, but the judge wasn't buying it. She's been given much more chance than most people in her situation.

When the judge said 90 days, I think he believes that. She's already demonstrated she can't be trusted to show up for appointments on her own.

I'm not sure if the 1 day off for each served with good behavior is applicable here.

I also understand when she's released, she has to go to another 90 days in some sort of a treatment or inpatient rehab center.

Looks like she may be out of commission for 6 months. Maybe she'll grow up a little during that time.

Right after "Dancing With the Stars" ended last month, I read that Lindsay Lohan was among the stars being considered for next season's show :purplebananna:
Interesting they were considering her for dancing part, after all :innocent: in the past few photo shots I had seen her falling drunk and being helped up by her staff/guard.
She is a talented girl, I hope she is going to stay in there ALL 90 days and be forced into rehab right after , she really needs help.

Linky

Her reaction in the video is priceless. Welcome to the real world kiddo! :loser:

This child saddens me a lot. I'm not making excuses for her just pointing some things out. Her family is a train wreck, she appears to never have had any significant discipline in her life and yet she's talented as a dancer singer and actress. Everybody in her life seems to have only wanted to use her and not love her as much as they should. If she gets her head on straight and works hard she could become a memorable actress. JMO

I think that the judge should have stuck to having her surrender today, like she was going to do.

I hope against hope that this will be what it takes to help her get her life together and get a program to get off drugs/alcohol.

How classy of her: circulating on the internet are Getty pics from the hearing... in some of them there are closeups of Lilo's well manicured nails... where a little message is written on her middle finger.

http://www.zimbio.com/Lindsay+Lohan...ay+Lohan+Sports+Unladylike+Manicure+Courtroom

We already knew she was giving the justice system the proverbial middle finger/"f you" flipoff by the fact of not complying with the terms of her probation, but for her to walk into that courtroom with that written out on her nail: that is pretty darn bold and low. The girl is in need of a serious attitude adjustment.
