While the Navajo Nation is being hit hard by COVID-19, the nation is also trying to give back during this time.

Friday Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez, Vice President Myron Lizer, and other tribal members delivered food, diapers, and other supplies to the Manuelito Navajo Children's Home in Gallup, New Mexico.

GALLUP, N.M. (AP) — According to state health officials, the number of COVID-19 cases in McKinley County surpassed Bernalillo County on Saturday.

Including Sunday's partial report from the New Mexico Department of Health, McKinley County now has a total of 720 COVID-19 cases. There are 688 cases in Bernalillo County, which includes Albuquerque, New Mexico’s most populous city.

McKinley County now leads New Mexico in COVID-19 cases

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Nearly 90 people have tested positive for COVID-19 at an Albuquerque senior living facility.

According to documents, officials at Uptown Genesis confirm that 49 residents and 39 staff members have tested positive. As of Wednesday, five of those who had tested positive have died.

Another ABQ senior facility hit hard with nearly 90 COVID-19 cases
